I don’t know if I can trust the expert in this video. Her stance that food is not able to cure cancer is wrong. It is a scientific fact that you if you eat a bunch of amanita phalloides, you will never have to worry about cancer again. I can’t believe she didn’t know that.

I love how idiots think organic means no pesticides. I worked at a organic garden and u use natural pesricides but most pestkcides exist in nature but we concentrats it to very unnatural lvls and spray them so much more basically each row in the greenhouse gets sprayed on a rotating schedule. For example bay 1 and 2 get sprayed one day all the way to bay 20 and its starts all over again.

As a medical librarian, who worked directly with patients and their families for many years of course I understand the need to provide reliable information about health to the public but the tone of this speaker is so mocking and off putting that it will likely have the opposite effect. Honestly, I didn’t want to listen to it myself.
There is so much emotion behind beliefs when it comes to healthcare, it’s not just a question of stupidity. People are scared and looking for answers. Reliable evidence based consumer health information is vague on purpose because each case is unique, but people often don’t have access to doctors to get the answers they need. Even if they do, so much happens between visits, and so many ailments take years to diagnose. Women, people who are considered obese, and people of colour among others are often dismissed by medicine and are searching for ways to manage. Is it a wonder that mis and disinformation thrives? It fulfills a real need, albeit in a terrible predatory way.
Research (and common sense) shows that compassion and empathy are preferable and more effective when faced with patients who believe things they found online that aren’t true (see: Abbasi J. COVID-19 Conspiracies and Beyond: How Physicians Can Deal With Patients’ Misinformation. JAMA. 2021;325(3):208–210. doi:10.1001/jama.2020.22018).

You can say anything in a patent; all the Patent Office is interested in is this: is the thing described ‘novel’, and is it capable of being protected by a patent. If you pass the test, you get your patent. No approval of the gobbledygook is implied or express. If indeed there’s any patents at all.

Btw you haven’t made super-detailed arguments against much of these claims. We don’t need granular overly-technical proof for everything, but hit us with some depth every now and then.
Also, early on, the African AI character did not say the tongue was the ONLY gateway or connect to the limbic system; your counter-argument or rebuttal seemed like it was formulated with that in mind. I believe that’s a type of strawman.

22:35 I wonder if the researchers at Cal Berkeley were one of those groups that mis-analyzed microplastics in the body, because they’ve deleted my comments about 60-year old had his blood analyzed for microplastics by Mass General Hospital and result was non-detect. If microplastics have been accumulating in the enviro, then you’d expect a guy born after the advent of plastic being exposed for 60 years of his life would be made of microplastics by now. That shows that they knew they were fudge-factoring the results to make themselves look like “wow! I found this interesting ‘fact’ about how almost everyone has microplastics in their bodies.”

The covid vax absolutely affects the heart. I could see a direct effect in Afib after getting the vax 3 times. Take it to the bank, there is an effect in at least afib frequency. If you have afib, the vax will make it worse.

I always thought the UK had much more strict food regulations than the US. The same products have vastly different color, texture, and taste. I’ve always had the assumption that red 40 and other dyes were banned. Looking into it, it seems that most of these differences are based on cultural preferences for sweeteners, more specifically the use of High Fructose Corn Syrup. There are still differences regulations, but most of these differences were not noticeable to me across the pond. Very insightful video 🙂

What always happens in these videos is that there is a few crazy examples that are ridiculed so than people already have a bias against all of the examples given.
However, if people dont want to research multiple sources to get all of the information and they want to live unhealthy than because they believe this ” its safe and effective” person, than thats their problem.

Thats just as stupid as ” food is nutrition and not medicine”..
Just for a test eat mcdonalds and chocolate only for a week and the next week eat only salads and berries and vegetables and fruits.
See if you notice a difference between how you feel physically on those weeks.

‘Superfood’ is a marketing buzzword with no actual meaning. People will pay more money for food they think provides a health benefit, so companies can hop on the trend to make more sales and increase prices.
There are foods with higher nutrient densities, with increased vitamins, fiber (this is a big one, don’t get colon cancer kids), antioxidants, etc. Actually healthy diets rely on variety and balance, not expensive trends.

Pasteurized milk often never reaches 165°F “for 15 seconds” for mass produced milk, it’s usually slightly lower, and for many higher quality brands it only reaches 145°F for a much longer period of time. Just like cooking chicken for instance, where sure, dangerous food-borne bacteria killed off instantly at 165°F, chicken is much more tender and juicy if cooked to a lower temperature for a longer period of time. I personally go with 150-155°F held for 3 minutes (which also kills off those same bacteria)

I mostly agree with her, but I’m really not so sure plastic is so effectively cleaned by your kidneys. There’s so much stuff that adds up to damaging our body, all sorts of plastics, endocrine disruptors, bio-accumulative substances. Recent studies find there’s plastic trapped in all organs, like testicles or the brain.

I found some of the things you were asserting just as suspect as some of the snakeoil purveyors. Let’s not get too hubristic about western medicine and science. Not all medical practices are based on empirical evidence and western medicine and science have gotten a lot of things wrong over the years, even recently, and caused a lot of harm. Iatrogenesis is a real thing and people should be mindful of it as well as the snakeoil purveyors. It’s not surprising to me that people have become highly skeptical of western medicine. It’s your life and as far as I know, you only get one of them. Incentives matter. Be aware of the incentives of the people you’re listening to. Don’t get me wrong, I have great respect for our medical professionals, but I also know they’re not gods and they get things wrong all the time, and given what they’re working with I wouldn’t expect different but I do want people to be their own best advocates, don’t farm out that responsibility. Dr. Love and I agree on more than one thing, particularly “you can’t believe anything you see online,” and guess what, she’s online.

Atherosclerosis can be prevented though by avoiding saturated fats and in turn high LDL cholesterol. I always wonder why genetically high LDL levels are in focus, when the vast majority of people develop atherosclerosis due to poor lifestyle. Love Dr. Love, but one note: Organics are still worthwhile despite personal health risks of pesticides being negligible. Organic farming is more about sustainability and reducing environmental harm. Love has taken shots at organic in a few vids and it’s worth remembering that while conventional produce is healthy for you, it’s less so for the soil and water. Buy organic if you can afford it; if not, don’t feel bad. It’s more important that you’re eating veggies at all!

Thank you for telling the real scientific facts! Your video is great. Btw, Fluoride is not a neurotoxin at all at any concentration, it is a poison if ingested at high levels due to competing/blocking the enolase enzyme in the last part of glycolysis pathway! At low dose, 1ppm or less as you mentioned, it’s very safe and strengthens bone and teeth and has excellent anti caries activity! Also topically applied on teeth over a minute or longer, make teeth more resistant to cavities.
