Lidar is a crutch. Local maximums are enticing, but that’s as far as you’ll get with Lidar.

@Jay Jay I hope you had a big breakfast, because Argo is gonna eat your lunch. 😂

@Motivation Factory Go back to comment #1: Lidar is a crutch. They’ll have L4 success with it, but that’s it. Only Tesla will get to truly autonomous anywhere driving, even on roads no Tesla has ever seen before.

Ask yourself, why hasn’t Waymo expanded their L4 solution anywhere in YEARS if Lidar is so great?

@Jay Jay You didn’t answer my question. Did you have a big breakfast or not?

@Motivation Factory A light breakfast. It takes me all morning and into the afternoon to swim through my piles of TSLA earnings. Can’t be on too full of a stomach to accomplish so much in a few hours.

@Jay Jay Oh boy, that was a bad idea. You should’ve had a bigger breakfast, considering you won’t be having anything for lunch.

I waited for the question about, why is lidar needed when Tesla is going all vision. But the journalist al so narrow minded.
