Maybe self-love is too much to ask for right now. That’s okay. If you’ve endured years of being told you’re not good enough, there’s little chance you’ll be able to feel “worthy” of loving yourself right away.
So, instead, try to just aim for feeling neutral about yourself today. Meet yourself halfway to love by feeling neither good nor bad about yourself. Just be whoever you are exactly as you are. That’s good enough.

I’m sure there are, but is it truly worth what we might release on humanity?? Yeah, thinking before acting is neat. I think we have enough live viruses floating around right now. How about funding or helping Michael Levin instead? His work with memory and gap junctions are directly related and won’t risk bringing back dormant plagues. Just my opinion.

He is not talking about looking for ancient frozen organisms in the ice (which as you said could contain also ancient pathogens), but organisms (fungi, plants and the like) that are already living right now in the northern cold climate. They are already part of the current ecosystems, just yet to be studied fully.

@monstermoonshine still, why not jump on board and help Levin instead? If we can repair ourselves and regrow limbs and organs, it’ll make most illnesses a thing of the past. The complications that cause most deaths, like pneumonia, may be totally gone. Just my opinion. The guy needs everyone backing him. Probably wouldn’t hurt to slap a civilian security detail on him too lol.

@Pasquotank paranormal because scientific funding doesn’t work like that. If you don’t give money for X, it doesn’t mean that the money goes to Y necessarily. It’s a complicated thing. And it’s best to have different people working on different things anyway.

@monstermoonshine anyone can donate and help fund most scientific projects, even in security and the private sector, if you know about it and whos running it. They may or may not make you privvy to the results, though.You’re not talking to some child. I’m 48 and I’ve been into science my entire life. I qualified for every job in the US military through my asvab and all of the profiling. I chose infantry to build up security clearance. I had a choice to stay behind a desk or go home due to a pre existing injury I failed to report. But going full bore and ready for war at 18, had my parents sign me in early after graduation, to a desk at that age, and with a bikini model waiting to mend my still broken heart, was a no go.

I think you didn’t get the video at all and should consider rewatching xD. He’s part of the people who want to PRESERVE it, when researchers go to the arctic for research, they don’t obliterate the environment cause their end-goal/bottom-line isn’t based on profit but on the research itself. It’s in their own interest to have the biome be as natural and undisturbed as possible.

Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

@Rose Allen Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumours and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years.

Interesting talk but i think all potential life saving chemicals are found everywhere, not just in the cold. Extreme environmental conditions make these flora produce those chemicals.
