Larger screens are useless without split-screen “multitasking” support.

iPad mini has split screen. iPhone should have too but maybe for a bigger iPhone and stage manager designed for phone

I just want a phone that can fit in my pocket. I hope they take the mini designs and turn them into SEs in the future. I’ve had the 12 mini for about 2 years now and I love it but the battery is certainly degrading. I thought about keeping it and changing the battery down the line or trying out a “budget” androind. Picked up the Pixel 7a at launch because I thought that was the smallest best android to get. Boy was I wrong haha, returned it the next day and here I am back stuck in the ecosystem.

Same boat.. the 12 mini was perfect and unique but the battery is terrible. Also thinking to change the battery and stick it out until Apple makes something small again.

    • PS

      June 2, 2023 at 8:53 pm

      Get the 13 mini

Apple products are usually quite polished and targeted at the mass market when they’re released. Not sure what their headset is going to look like, as they still look and feel stupid to wear. Can’t imagine mass market being interested in a product like that.

Using the phone as a controller for vr / ar such as NREAL glasses tech and OS, …. idk. It feels gimmicky. I wont see it catching on until they use something like an apple watch or high fidelity tracking hands or something bci related. Using a phone and aiming it as a cursor feels like android and i doubt apple would go that route, highly doubt. Great update!

IMO, the AR/VR is so overrated and will never meet the higher than high expectations that have been created 🤷🏼‍♂
