To this day I’m still trying to explain to 70 year old relatives how Apple TV is an app and Apple TV is a device (that does a lot more things) where you download the Apple TV app so you can access the Apple TV service. Sure. Not confusing at all!

      October 24, 2025 at 2:49 pm

Tell them the apple TV device is a TiVo and they’ll understand.

Is the new M5 MacBook Pro worth it or should someone wait to upgrade?

      October 24, 2025 at 2:48 pm

Wait! It’s just a 15″ Air with more ports and 3k screen and a slightly bigger base HD. Wait for the M5 16″ Pro or the 15″ M5 Air.

so… does everyone now agrees, that apple didn’t necessarily need its own ai “apple intelligence” service, plateform,
that people don’t, not buy iPhones because apple’s own intelligence software / service is late?
everyone already uses the popular chatbots on their iPhones, so… why was that “apple is doomed because ai is late” take even a thing?

Apple TV+-? Why am I still seeing Apple TV+ on my Apple TV (tvOS 18.6)? (Apple gets many “shouldn’t have to think about” things. But this original name, the hardware, and the new move cannot be counted among those.)

I don’t think people are mad that Apple Tv+ is now called Apple Tv. They are mad Apple Tv hardware is dead because yes, Apple would never name 2 things the same thing at once.

Since buying the original iPhone in 2007 and every new iPhone in each release year, I cannot recall a year when Apple had such a great release for both the new iPhone and the new iOS. This year’s iPhone 17 & 17 Pros, along with iOS 26 are stellar.
