A 45mm black ultra would be sick!

    • Ricardo Villagran Vicent

      September 6, 2023 at 11:59 am

YES. I have use the Ultra and it is a little too large for my wrist. A 45mm would be awesome.

When I bought the Watch Ultra I thought it came with SOS but realized it was just for iPhone 14 series. Seems like a missed opportunity being that LTE is the only version. Even if you don’t use it

Hi cnet, why watch got apple in it?😅

If you want a smaller watch get a regular Apple Watch.

    • Rajesh krishnan

      September 6, 2023 at 10:08 am

What’s your problem ? The regular watch Dont get that many features

    • Ricardo Villagran Vicent

      September 6, 2023 at 11:59 am

Nothing wrong having the same specs at a more wearable size!!!

    • Rajesh krishnan

      September 6, 2023 at 12:06 pm

@Ricardo Villagran Vicent Yes Apple Watch ultra with 44mm will be amazing. It will just be the perfect size. We don’t want a computer attached to our wrist, we need a watch. 44mm and 49mm both sizes will be appreciated.

Bigger battery that could last weeks like Garmin smart watches, & ability to play music through the speakerphone, also an option to change the ringtones like galaxy smart watches.. ❤️ Lexy..

  9. Dimitris Lambrianos

    September 6, 2023 at 9:23 am

Ultra should have more buttons like Garmin watches. It is ridiculous if you dive the touch screen is useless and you can not do anything at all…
Forget the problem of the battery. The fitness app is useless compare to workoutdoors app. The topo maps are only working on maps app…
The only way to fix Ultra is to have third party apps which are consuming too much battery sometimes.

I don’t think we need a UPDATE! This wacht is expensive!!! And deserve respect for the buyers, every 2 years update it makes sense, if they start to update every year this will devalue the product… it doesn’t make sense, with the normal Apple Watch is perfect every year, that watch is half of the price…

Can Apple redesign the redundant size of the iPhone, think outside of the box, literally….

For Gods Sake , stop messing with this watch. All you talk about is what it needs or what it’s missing . Enough already I’ve had over a year and love it use it for exercise: taking a walk , biking strength training everything. Let it go and enjoy 👊🏽👊🏽

  17. Ricardo Villagran Vicent

Apple watch users get all excited because the Ultra battery last 2 days when Garmin, Suunto, Amazfit etc last 2-weeks or more 😂😂😂

    • OW

      September 6, 2023 at 7:00 pm

They do as much 😂 they’re just basic fitness trackers with notifications. And yes I have a Garmin, battery lasts a while but limited to what you can do.

got my Ultra 2 months ago and im still inlove with it, got it for 40% of its original price in our country, not a bad deal for a 2nd hand brand new condition item

Ability to stream YouTube Music without my phone would be nice.

It is the best AW you can buy but a PROPER adventure watch would be nice, you know, since it’s marketed as an adventure watch.

I’m so glad you pointed out that others do patents besides Apple to block out others as well. I agree. A light on the outside of the Apple Watch would be nice, but its in Garmins best interest to not allow that to happen no time soon. Maybe Apple could do a brighter ring around the screen on the actual screen. That would allow you to see your stacks and use a flash of light as well. I don’t know. Just brainstorming.

    • Lexy Savvides

      September 6, 2023 at 11:15 pm

Wow I really like that idea!

Oh, fantastic! Just when I thought my life was missing something, Apple graces us with yet another watch. 🙄 I’ve been on the edge of my seat, just WAITING for another underwhelming gadget to add to the collection. Remember the good ol’ days when Apple products were actually exciting? Me neither. And let’s talk battery life, shall we? I’m sure I’ll have the absolute pleasure of charging this bad boy every. single. day. Because, you know, who doesn’t adore being besties with their charger? It’s like Apple knows exactly what we don’t want and delivers it with a bow. Bravo, Apple, bravo! 👏😂

Apple must fix Ultra’s unreliability in open water swim tracking. It’s disappointing.

  29. Colin Hughes

    September 7, 2023 at 3:48 am

iPhone offers an always-listening Siri option, but the Apple Watch doesn’t offer the same convenience. Users must lift and twist their wrist to activate Siri, creating a hurdle for severely disabled people. Apple should consider aligning Siri’s behavior on the Watch with the iPhone. It would open up a world of new possibilities for severely disabled people – hands-free calling, messaging, home control and more. As it is at the moment, the Watch is next to useless for some people. It doesn’t have to be this way. With the Ultra’s already generous battery life I would gladly accept 50 per cent less battery life for a truly always listening Siri while the Watch is down

    September 7, 2023 at 5:32 am

Not going to get it but I would like a baby Ultra in the $500 range. I am not an outdoorsman but would like a more rugged Apple Watch. So, maybe Apple would consider opening up the line of watches to give us something in the middle. Also, how about a round face design. The rectangle is, well, a rectangle.

  31. John Doe

    September 7, 2023 at 6:12 am

Bruh, i got the ultra only to tell time. I dont use it for anything else. I got it because i like how big and thick it is. All the other features it has, i never use them at all. If they made the new ultra 2 bigger then i would get it. Im still waiting for apple to make a band that can hold your iPhone on your wrist as a watch. But of course i know they would never do that because nobody would get an apple watch then. ✌️

  32. John Doe

    September 7, 2023 at 6:24 am

Last comment, now real talk, why is nobody asking for the most important feature for the ultra and all apple watches? I guess im the only nerd who wants and needs the always on display to always have the seconds hand on. Yes, try to use any watch face with hands and the seconds hand always disappears when it goes into dim light mode. Bros, do you guys at apple just dont know how seeing the seconds hands is important? The only reason i can come up to as why Apple does not do this and i bet will never do this is because they being nice to normal watch makers. Thats the only reason i can think of . Because if Apple updated and had seconds hand stay on constantly , then nobody would need a normal watch with hands. Medical personal for sure need the seconds hand when like doing certain things like checking heart rate or blood pressure. But the fact that i been wanting this feature and nobody else does, shows people who get apple watch dont care about using apple watch for real life important things for medical workers. They all have to get normal watches with actual seconds hands so they can do there job. So yeah, HUGE screw up on apples part. But either they being nice to watch companies by not adding this or they dont care. Either way, i guess it gives me an excuse to get a rolex yacht master. ✌️

Love my ultra but unless they make the screen even bigger I won’t upgrade for a while

  34. Russ Dennis

    September 7, 2023 at 7:51 am

    How about satellite tracking?

  35. Max G

    September 7, 2023 at 10:10 am

What watch does show seconds when “down”? The answer is obvious, like always – GARMIN!
