    Highly doubt that, he’s an engineer, he approved the mate screen “solution” to the duo crease.
    Nobody cares about product anymore at Apple, they just follow trends.
    There was a time you didn’t mind paying premium because Apple products blew away the competition , there wasn’t even a comparison : ipod , iphone , macbook air, ipad… No compromises. Now it’s just iterations and copycats. Steve would have launched the duo with the same cameras than the 18 pro and no crease, without the matte trick.

      Actually, there were some comparisons. They didn’t have the name recognition and marketing budget as Apple. I remember when the first several rounds of iPod came out how unimpressed I was with the limited features. I had iAudio and other better MP3 players while paying less for the brand
