Bloomberg’s Ed Ludlow takes a look at Anthropic as the AI company expects to match or top the size of SpaceX’s record-setting IPO. Plus, sources say Broadcom is in talks to raise more than $60 billion in debt to help Anthropic and others secure chips and computing power, and all eyes are on Nvidia as the chipmaker reports earnings next week.

Grok regaining frontier status and then merging with Cursor is a perfect storm for Anthropic. X has the same and soon better intelligence with Grok 4.7/Grokbot and it has the distribution to compete with Anthropic via Cursor…….and at a fraction of the price. It’s very difficult to see how Anthropic can compete longer term while having to buy compute. Elon will drive the price of intelligence down and make money on compute. An absolute nightmare situation for Anthropic.
