    From a smart home point of view I hope Amazon gets behind matter…. Trouble is I just can’t see all the big players in the field going to allow all their devices be 100% compatible with every other system.

    Just look at Zigbee… Nice idea and nearly IDENTICAL clams about compatibility. Now the same companies are saying “Matter will be brilliant”. We’ll see…

      @Allen Altland Why? A Fire Tablet that turns into a Show on the “Smart Dock”. Why keep a good screen at a fixed place? The speakers are great and the following you around is usefull. But a real tablet is still way more versatily. Why not have both in one package?
