Affordable vs. High-End Headphones Showdown!

A pair of premium headphones can be six times the price of budget ones, but are they six times better? We did a blind-test to see if the differences really are noticeable. #tech #bose #sennheiser #sony #headphones #soundcore #headphones

Whatever headphones you buy, _get ones that have a removeable cord_ if they are not wireless. Personally I wouldn’t use wireless, but if you are using corded headphones, get one that you plug the cord into the headphones. The point of failure on headphones is almost always the cord, or the pads. The pads are replaceable usually, and the cord… if its removeable, is replaceable. If not, however, the cord failing will turn a perfectly good pair of headphones into something you throw in the garbage can even though there’s nothing else wrong with them.

I’ve lost MANY pairs of headphones because of this until they finally started making them with plug-in cords. I am currently using Sennheiser GSP350s, and despite the pads wearing out, the cord is thicker and can be unplugged, but after years of use, almost 5 years now, the cord is still just fine. Even if it went bad on me, I can simply unplug it and replace the cord for about $10. Better than buying another $150 pair of headphones.

Personally I buy headphones that have a 2.4ghz wireless USB like mice do. I hate wired headphones I think theres nothing worse about having a good pair of headphones than not being able to take them wherever you want.
Wireless technology has gotten good enough that a lot of wireless mice, keyboards, and headphones have less delay than wired ones assuming they’re not using bluetooth which is horrible.

You are 100% right though cord is always the point of failure and people need to get replaceable ones

Another good budget option is the AirPods Max

A lot of people end up not being able to really tell the difference in quality at a certain point.

Try the headphones out. Listen to different headphones back to back. Listen to the same dynamic part of the same song on each set of headphones.

If you cannot really tell the difference between two options … get the cheaper pair. Spending more is a waste.

Same deal with TVs/monitors. Same deal with cars. This concept extends to a lot of stuff.

Do not pay for things you cannot perceive.

But we all need 20 inch 500hz 4k monitors its such a huge and noticeable upgrade over 27 inch 1440p 144hz definitely

150 is not mid range… And if I get mid feeling headphones for that much im 1000% returning it and getting another $60 pair of nubwo’s and not thinking twice
