renting one for a day would be fun

More like renting it for 20 minutes. 😆

      Still going to cost a 🤳 and a 🦵.

@NextNate03 No way, it’ll only cost the people you crash into an 💪and a🦵

@C1418OS I was implying that it is going to cost alot of money renting.

Arm 🤳 and a leg🦵means the same thing.

It is a TRAGEDY that something like this can’t run on solar energy alone. Instead of trying to pull every ounce of oil and gas from the earth for decades, the human race should’ve been focusing SPECIFICALLY on perfecting the harnessing and use of solar energy.

That’s an awesome aircraft! I’d very much like to have one.

I’ll be sticking with my Mosquito XE, this thing is cool but the 20-minute flight time ruins it for me.
The only truly compelling thing about this product is not needing a pilot’s license to operate it in America.

Can they make it less quiet and kick up less debris?

Gotta be dumb to want this, final products on something like this should have a couple redundancy computers, some sort of air bag for you and the craft. Probably the most dangerous thing that I have ever seen in my life.

    Awesome

It’s a great start, for sure. I’m suspect we’ll see people racing these over the desert soon enough as a new sport. 20 minutes of flight time isn’t that great at 70mph though, but realistically we need to have a flight range of more like 100-200 miles at speeds of 100mph+ before this thing could really change the way people get around. But mark my words, by the end of this decade we’re going to see eVTOLs all over the place. By the end of 2040 it could be how humans get around most of the time.

Overpriced, and I’m sure the government will find some way to restrict or ban these.

I absolutely love the concept of the airframe, fast & highly maneuverable. I would like to wait on this one to see if the cost will go down when consumer demand starts to increase. Once it is a known safety platform with a decent record of consumer use, popularity will drive the market. Ideally, the flight time e.g. BMS will improve to allow better range which is key to securing the customer base.

I love drones, ebikes, renewable energy products and I’m in the IT field. I love the idea and tech that’s gone into this product, but the battery limitation, non safety features, anyone allowed to fly it and limited regulations to use it makes it a non starter for me. It’s a great start but along ways to go still.

It’s be interesting to read news about bystander being shredded to bits and pieces by the propellers.

  37. Huma Onyango

    April 24, 2023 at 12:05 pm

Very nice hobby machine … It’s hard to imagine it’s actually serious use case … It’s slow, doesn’t carry much, propellers are exposed, doesn’t go very high like on top of skyscrapers.

In urban settings, electric bykes are better … In rural, diesel pickups … Between cities helicopters.

Maybe in remote locations together with a pickup?

Without prop guards it seems like a really bad/dangerous idea.

Prop guards increase lift efficiency and stability, unless you plan to do acrobatics it’s best to have prop guards, otherwise this machine is a just a horrible accident waiting to happen.

I need to know a few things. How high can it fly? How long can it fly? How long does it take to charge? Can you use a supercharger like what we use for our Tesla? If all is well i can wake up late and be to my office in 10 mins rather then sitting in traffic for 50 mins lol.

This machine should be priced at 30K….max! After all, complete electric cars can be purchased for under 30K.

What’s the range? Or fly time?

  54. SoundOfYourDestiny

These will never get off the ground, plenty of people complaining about little toy drones being too noisy. 😅

  56. Correlli

    April 25, 2023 at 12:07 pm

I’d put some small wheels I mean so I can be pushed it around. I can image these things being used in racing. Need a fully protected cockpit, and rotor fenders. Love it! ❤

This thing has no landing lights, no beacon lights, no transponder, no communications equipment, no protection for the rotors, no cargo space, lacks battery life and range.

It has no real functionality other than to be a rich mans toy.

We need something the masses can use.

    I want one.
