Pastry should not be that pricey because you can mass produce it so you can make thousands of pastry in the 2 days but the cocktails needs to made it on the spot

How can you refuse the taste of espresso? Are you serious? The bitter flavor combined with the sweet notes and that clock design—oh God, don’t play with my mind and soul! Even without tasting it, I can tell it would be unbelievable. Great job!

I’m not impressed. Chocolate prices are going up and up because of a cocoa bean shortage. I hate to see it used on these huge sculptures. And who wants to eat it after it’s been handled that much. What a waste.

    • @gideonatlas5259

      November 9, 2025 at 2:57 pm

AFAIK, the chocolate gets melted down and reused! It doesn’t really get eaten, its just for the sculpture itself. Sure, if its on a pastry i dont know if it can be reused, but i think most of his sculptures are just chocolate and aren’t meant to be eaten at all, so they can be melted down after theyre made

      November 10, 2025 at 12:05 pm

@gideonatlas5259 Ew, who wants to eat chocolate that has been worked into art, then displayed? There are other things he could make his sculptures out of.

If a company plants trees to offset its pollution, is that climate progress — or is it greenwashing? Critics of carbon markets say it’s the latter. But Sandeep Roy Choudhury, who’s spent two decades financing climate projects from rural cookstoves to coastal forests, says the real failure is discouraging companies from even trying. Hear his case for why we shouldn’t let perfection block meaningful action on climate change. (Recorded at TED Countdown Summit 2025 on June 17, 2025)
