Dan Harris discusses self-love, explaining it as treating yourself with kindness like you would a friend. He explores the science behind self-compassion, its benefits for relationships and habit formation, and practical techniques to cultivate it, while addressing common misconceptions and barriers.

Wow! A description that’s longer, more boring, and in the wrong place!

Thanks useless software, how else was I supposed to understand summarization like most children can? And it’s not like there’s free software that does the same job, right? 🤦‍♂

when is everyone going to stop accusing everyone of not loving themselves? how much more narcissistic propaganda do we really need? do you really think we haven’t heard this cheap crap yet? stop implying i don’t love myself good enough! it’s insulting! degrading! how are we supposed to love ourselves if you keep degrading us? why does capitalism obsess over selflove when it makes every other kind of love illegal! i’m so thankful i’m nothing like you! stop advertising crap that doesn’t need to be advertised & start helping disabled people! what did disabled people do to society that was so atrocious & irredeemable that disabled people have to suffer for all eternity? what illusion is being pulled over the public’s eyes that makes them think disabled people are getting the legitimate competent compassionate qualified accountable actionable tangible help they need?

Loving ourselves is easy but wrong. Loving others is hard but right.

If a company plants trees to offset its pollution, is that climate progress — or is it greenwashing? Critics of carbon markets say it’s the latter. But Sandeep Roy Choudhury, who’s spent two decades financing climate projects from rural cookstoves to coastal forests, says the real failure is discouraging companies from even trying.
