It’s tough not having a dad around to praise you… however not having one to becoming one is the creative challenge to learning and applying such words to my little one. I say start saying to yourself the words you wish to hear and when you do get praised, be grateful and humbled.

Things now these days are different than they were in the 50s and 60s and the 30s and 40s some people seem to think that it’s bad for anyone to do anything that they didn’t do back in them days. That was good. I’ve heard it in many times if a woman is out walking at night time just exercising She’s walking the streets and this was in the 90s and it was considered bad so things that change for the better people do not understand it. A lot of people are still living in the old years. They don’t want to transfer to the new years at all whatever happened in the old years they wanted to stay with them and continue to live this life This new life I think is scaring people and they cannot wrap their minds around it so it’s gonna take small steps to get people through this sleeping in the same bed in the 60s in the 40s and 30s was fine if someone wants to sleep separate bedrooms as long as they’re under the same roof what does it matter? You’d be surprised how many women sleep on the couch these days and times They don’t sleep with their husbands. I see it all the time or the husband sleep on the couch instead of sleeping in the bed with the wife, it’s not no joke is the truth and they won’t do it around their children. They don’t matter how old your children are People’s thinking wrong but that’s the way they want to live and they’re not gonna change by no means I know so many things that y’all would be shocked to even hear about they go on in these homes these days and times so let things go like they going because people are not gonna change if they don’t want toI know what I’m talking about❤❤❤

crypto shouldn’t be overlooked. Its liquidity, 24/7 market, and profit potential make it a smart move today. I’ve witness a growth from $110k to $990k within 3 months through day trading. I’m especially grateful to Adviser Marc Andrew Zabicki for his expertise and exposure to different areas of the market.

*_TIMESTAMPS_* & Summary (by *VidSkipper AI* ): People pleasing stems from various factors, like trauma or fear of rejection. Overcoming it involves open communication, resilience, and managing external opinions, as well as questioning traditional relationship expectations.
    0:46 🎭 Manifestations & Origins of People-Pleasing
    • People-pleasing manifests differently; some readily agree to requests, while others avoid being an inconvenience.
    • Resilience, not avoidance, is key; opening up and recovering from hurt fosters growth.
    • People-pleasing may stem from trauma, a fear of rejection, or a desire to avoid humiliation.
    3:40 🌱 Overcoming People-Pleasing: Practical Steps
    • Admitting discomfort is the first step; start by communicating with close friends or family.
    • Focus on resilience: Open up, and if you get hurt, get back up instead of staying shelled up.
    • Recognize that overvaluing others’ opinions can stem from early family dynamics and a need for approval.
    8:04 ⚖️ Managing External Opinions
    • To diminish the impact of negative feedback, lessen the weight of positive opinions too.
    • Remember, online comments aren’t representative of the entire audience.
    • Craving parental approval can extend to other authority figures, making it difficult to dismiss negative opinions.
    13:27 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Dynamics & Approval
    • Experiences outside parental experience require independent decision making.
    • Family dynamics shape approval needs; a parent’s stability provides contentment.
    • Fear of disappointing loved ones can lead to concealing potential failures.
17:23 💔 Relationship Expectations vs. Reality
    • Relationships need not follow set trajectories; question traditional milestones.
    • Open communication is essential; address discomforts and needs honestly with your partner.
    • Avoid comparisons; focus on what works for you and your partner, and check in with yourself.
20:47 ✨ Fantasy vs. Reality in Relationships
    • The big danger is you get in a relationship with the fantasized version you have in your head of someone else.
    • Relationships need a little bit of fantasy just to work; too much honesty can be overwhelming.
    • Check in with yourself; are you happy when you make coffee and put dishes in the dishwasher? Maybe that’s enough.
23:36 💡 Short Film Idea: Lie Detector Test for Marriage
    • In a dystopian world where New York State is trying to curb the divorce rate.
    • To get married in the state of New York, a couple has to go um take a lie detector test that is 100% accurate.
    • Relationships need a little bit of fantasy just to work; too much honesty can be overwhelming.

If a company plants trees to offset its pollution, is that climate progress — or is it greenwashing? Critics of carbon markets say it’s the latter. But Sandeep Roy Choudhury, who’s spent two decades financing climate projects from rural cookstoves to coastal forests, says the real failure is discouraging companies from even trying. Hear his case for why we shouldn’t let perfection block meaningful action on climate change. (Recorded at TED Countdown Summit 2025 on June 17, 2025)
