Human population is the primary cause of climate change. There is a finite biomass on the planet. Each human means less biomass for trees and ducks and every other life form on the planet. Human population growth is the reason for the current mass extinction of many other life forms because most of earth’s biomass is in the form of humans and the life forms that serve human interests, e.g. cows and apples. The human population has nearly quadrupled in the past century. On 11/15/22 we hit 8 billion. Current population levels were made possible by the use of nonrenewable systems and there are no renewable systems that can sustain current, much less projected, population levels. Fewer people would use less energy. Fewer people would require less food. Fewer people would use less water. Fewer people would generate less waste. The current human population is unsustainable and projected population compounds the problem. The primary cause of climate change is human population. Any programs that attempt to address the climate crisis without focusing on human population are doomed to fail.

Although his presentation is really odd & wordy… I agree that the only thing we can do is to work on improving local ecology. That will have a bigger impact on fighting climate change than buying EVs.

No ‘climate action’ is required. Sea levels are not an increasing threat, according to tidal gauges world wide they are rising at the same predictable rate. Another irrational false alarm. Besides the naturally recurring cycles of freezing and melting ice especially in the arctic are normal, and have never been linked to atmospheric CO2 levels. The north had less ice cover in the early 1900s when the waters were more navigable than today. The term ‘climate action’ is a euphemism for anti-human tyranny and the depopulation agenda. CO2 is Safe and Effective.

With so much discussion around climate change over the past 150 years, I feel it’s helpful that we consider how glaciers didn’t exist on the planet until 60 million years ago or so, and that we’ve been in a bit of an ice age since. These coastal areas would likely return to the sea even if humans weren’t present on the earth. Do we have an impact? Sure, but the earth has temperature changes too, let’s not think so big of ourselves to think we’re responsible for everything.

    • Exostin

      December 26, 2022 at 10:59 pm

Yeah, 60 milion years of ice age… Being undone in 100? 200? years, does that seem natural?
