The world is still really messed. How can you hate another human because of their color?

    • Charles

      September 16, 2023 at 9:18 pm

I think you missed the point. They didnt hate her, they just know that audiences subconsciously prefer certain roles be filled by Caucasian actors and actresses. It even true in the videogame industry. True even when the main character is chosen as a woman instead of a man.

When these roles are filled with non conforming race/genders, they do not make as much money and there are generally bad reviews.

If the producer’s high bar was kissing Tom Cruise, yours was higher. Way. Good for you. He didn’t hurt YOU. He hurt only what you BELIEVED was a symbol of success…..your epiphany was the recognition that you ARE valuable no matter what. Keep climbin my lady

Not to most of us… are you from the south or just *really* into the confederate flag?

  10. Googazon Twitterberg

    September 15, 2023 at 1:12 pm

Your whole identity is that you’re black. That’s all there is to you. This is why you’re “taking up space” in Hollywood instead of anyone knowing who you are. There’s an over abundance of identitarians. Especially in Hollywood.

  11. Austin McCollum

    September 15, 2023 at 1:18 pm

I don’t even know who she is haha. Not that i know every Hollywood person. But i don’t think she’s on Tom cruise’ level haha

    • XMckingwillX

    • iseerashonal

      September 15, 2023 at 7:34 pm

@XMckingwillX we’ve always heard about the brown paper bag theory in Hollywood but I’m saying this story seems like it’s taken from someone else.

    • XMckingwillX

      September 15, 2023 at 11:12 pm

@iseerashonal well in this country a large chunk of those who look a certain way will experience very similar things.

Believing in yourself is useful but, without effort and the ability to handle setbacks and learn from adversity you could end up very disappointed.

Sometimes we got to be gentler with our selves. Push ourselves so hard people fall out of touch with us. Some people care too much, others too little, while many are trying to strike up a fair balance within. I think part of that process is knowing when you’re doing more for the outside world than you are soing for your own personal affairs
