and also Tesla is not a car company. When their battery technology reaches 400Wh/kg density, they’ll make electric VTOL vehicles (plane? helicopter? i don’t know what to call them yet).

If you love America, vote for Trump. A vote for Biden is a vote for BLM and antifa violence and destruction, communism, school and business closures, invasion of illegals & fentanyl, and cancel culture.

To calculate the real market cap of Tesla, you have to combine the market cap of the entire auto industry because they are going to be the only car company left in the world in 5 years. Assuming Earth’s population grows at 1% in perpetuity, Tesla will have 8.2 billion people to sell its cars to by 2025. From here, we can measure their profit numbers in 2025 using today’s average profit number per vehicle. This would work itself out to be about $40 trillion in profits. In addition to sales on Earth, we also factor in the high probability of life forms on Mars who will also be consumers of Tesla’s products & services. And then you also have Elon Musk who is a visionary and technology God. Just his name alone presents an intangible asset value of about 300 billion. Using a simple DCF valuation model, we’ll use a moderately conservative discount rate of about 50%, which in turn puts their true value today at about $65,000 per share.Given such strong fundamentals and Tesla being able to make 4 times the total debt of the federal reserve’s balance sheet in 5 years, Tesla is severely underpriced and undervalued at $1900 (soon to be even cheaper at $400 per share). No other company in the world can provide this much value with zero risk. Tesla is a strong buy!

You sincerely think Tesla will be the ONLY car company in the world? 😂 im heavily invested in Tesla, and bullish on its future but this is one of the most delusional tales I’ve seen lol

This guy said in June that Tesla had 650,000 cybertruck reservations. And recently Musk himself stated that Tesla had only 200,000 reservations. Ives is a stock pusher that will make up anything to pump up the bubble.

    • Sunbro von Astora

      August 21, 2020 at 10:55 pm

@TheSolarFuture Enthusiast If you can’t see the comment with the link, it is an article on electrive com. Article title “Tesla Cybertruck reservations lower than expected”

    • TheSolarFuture Enthusiast

      August 21, 2020 at 11:16 pm

@Sunbro von Astora This is a journalistic review quoting an interview on an undisclosed date quoting Musk as saying “over 200,000” reservations. 650,000 is over 200,000 so both could be true.
Like I said previous I take the 650k with a big old pinch of salt, it has been calculated but against guess work using reservation numbers and could easily be a long way off in either direction.
The 200k is also low. As it states in the article Musk had revealed over 250k previously.
Over 200k is not the same thing as only 200k though.
      Thanks for the reference.
I wouldn’t trust Ives with my least favourite paperclip but I don’t believe only 200k Cybertruck orders either.

    • Sunbro von Astora

      August 21, 2020 at 11:22 pm

@TheSolarFuture Enthusiast It is totally meaningless anyway, 100 $ deposit is refundable and the reservation is not a legally binding order. Specs and price are not final.

    • TheSolarFuture Enthusiast

      August 21, 2020 at 11:41 pm

@Sunbro von Astora Yes the $100 is refundable and therefore obviously and redundantly not legally binding.
Yes the specs and price aren’t final.
If you believe it’s totally meaningless why mention it at all?
I disagree that it is totally meaningless. Over 200k people have handed $100. It is very unlikely that 100% will purchase the vehicle. It’s also very unlikely that 100% will cancel.
I wouldn’t hand them $100 just to mess with their figures. This is a reasonable indication that there is a demand for the vehicle of a reasonable size. It doesn’t show that it will smash the F150 but it does show it’s worth producing.

    • Sunbro von Astora

      August 21, 2020 at 11:47 pm

@TheSolarFuture Enthusiast I mentioned it because the stock price bubble of Tesla is based on fantasy numbers.
