It’s not the price, they need a game made for just the ps5 pro, then I would buy it. Too bad there is no game. I bought the first Xbox for just to play halo, first when it came out. Sony you need a game just for ps5 pro.

Or people who think PCs, especially for gaming, are “too complicated” when in reality you can go from a bunch of hardware boxes to starting a game within 2hrs and half of that is assembly. That actual “gaming” is like 10mins max unless you’re Internet speed is stuck in 2005.
But I think there’s something to what radicalkonrad said about keeping your work space separate from your gaming space. It’s a matter of personal preference… Even though that doesn’t mean you can’t have the same with two PCs.

It’s for people who can’t be happy unless they can tell themselves and others that they have the latest and greatest thing. I don’t agree with it but that’s the sliver of the market they’re aiming for. PlayStation probably knows this and won’t order too many consoles to sell.

U dont need 3080 or 4090 to play games. u can easily build mid range gaming pc around $700 to $800, and pc does offer many other benefits that consoles dont.

Yeah but I’d rather play with a controller that has good haptics than a damn keyboard and mouse also I can buy extra controllers to play with friends and family can’t do that on a PC 700$ ain’t that much in my opinion

Sony is known for creating proprietary hardware too. Like SD cards that only work with their camera and required an adapter or special slot to access on your PC.

I agree with being angry with losing a feature and being charged more money… 100% agree. But that argument is meaning less and less every year that passes. Now a days, they sell empty boxes with a code inside at GameStop. It’s the reality of the world. You could bring up backwards compatibility but when was the last time a game company supported that.

4K Comfortable Playing for 4K TV. If you sometimes see the benchmark of graphics cards, you will understand. We can’t get geforce 4090 with that price.

Clearly never built a PC before. You can simply build one at around $840-870.
$600 – GPU/CPU/Power Supply
$200 – Storage/Ram/Motherboard
$40-70 – Case
If you go second hand it will actually be around $700.
A $1000 build will smoke this machine.

Great perspectives. I basically tech-starved myself from consoles since the Switch came out in 2017. The price for the Pro is exorbitant for tech of it’s caliber, and I’d also vouch for a PC instead, but after some deeper thought, I now believe this could be a solid investment, and the price should cover for everything I never got to purchase since the Switch I bought. Could be a great treat to loop back into new top-of-the-line tech.🔥
