Ayy Harrison! Saw you perform locally a couple years ago. Great to see you’re in a Wired video

Edit: I find it funny that the behind the back and neck tricks are so high up. I rarely do slacks because it can end up in knots easily. People go crazy with btb and neck tricks so I’ve practiced them a lot. Eli hop combos are insane. I have yet to do a Anson around the world Eli hop ahaha

    Love the video!

I’m surprised he didn’t mention _why_ you use a $500 titanium yo-yo. A lot of these tricks get exponentially more difficult with a cheap plastic yo-yo. Good ball bearings and heft go a looooong way to making these tricks much easier to preform. And off the string tricks are even cooler to do. My favorite 🙂

Number 0.5: Before trying to throw a sleeper, make sure that the string is on the side of the yo-yo closest to your finger. It needs to roll off of your hand naturally, and if the string is on the opposite side instead, it’ll get pulled out of whack and not stay vertical.
