It will be more worthwhile for me to spend $1,000 on a computer than this one. In a few years, it never became outdated.

But unlike a computer this will only appreciate in value

What fascinates me is you feel the need to write this specifically on a PS5 Pro Limited Edition bundle unboxing. I can tell you that spending a mere 1000 dollars on a computer right now, is going to lead to it being outdated in a few years. That is not enough money to build the foundations of a long lasting gaming PC. At that price, you are going to either compromise the CPU or GPU to come in under budget.
If you are going to spend that little, you should just get a console, because you are going to have to replace your entire PC when the next gen comes anyway. Now the common belief is Sony won’t launch PS6 until 2028, but Microsoft might launch earlier, as early as 2026.

Brother no computer that you can buy for 1000$ will have the same capabilities as this

I’m super annoyed they made so few of these.

Yeah I was pissed off too – I like many others literally had zero chance to get this version of the PS5 Pro. It didn’t need to be that limited. They could have sold them all year around. I don’t give a crap about some showboating limited number on the side that means nothing. I just liked the colour.

Did they make the base controller a limited edition as well? I can’t find it anywhere, also, I wish they’d sell the plates with this color scheme, I guess some random third party on ebay will do

I like the way you popped into the intro. It’s a fun way to give people an idea as to how big the packaging is.
It looks really good. I hope people that purchase it get to enjoy it!

you can literally build a pc games system for less
@kcamfork
November 23, 2024 at 7:52 pm
You can. And it will have less power.
@oceantransistor
November 23, 2024 at 9:13 pm
@@kcamfork not necessarily but it will definitely be more upgradeable
@richardfranklin6003
November 24, 2024 at 2:58 am
@@oceantransistor Not really. The PS5 Pro is an imbalanced system with a much stronger GPU than CPU but developers build games around this. You can’t afford to create this level of imbalance on PC. I’d argue that at this point in the generation, you should be aiming for at least a Ryzen 7, 4070, 32GB Ram, and a Gen 4 M.2. And if your budget can stretch to it, aim higher. Anything less is just trash. You’re going to be upset when a port of a PS5 Pro game runs worse on your under budgeted PC.
@richardfranklin6003
November 24, 2024 at 3:06 am
And why aim higher? Because you want to stave off upgrading for as long as you can. It is not worth building a computer that is only going to last 3-4 years. You should be aiming for a decade. The PS5 Pro will still get support long after the PS6 is out, meanwhile, your computer will become completely useless as the baseline for 3D rendering shifts again.
