This is a wonderful TED talk. The message is about rejecting stereotypes and biased norms, embracing oneself and culture, accepting your valuable while inspiring others to do the same through extremely inventive visual storytelling in the art medium of hair. Her talk helps us see the stretch of the imagination into a physical realm. TED’s mission is to “discover and spread ideas that spark imagination, embrace possibility and catalyze impact.” All of this was in the message.
