Why Samsung may kill off Galaxy Note

A new report says that there are no plans for a 2021 edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone. What happens to the S-Pen? Don’t you worry. Apparently, the Galaxy S21 will be there to save the day.

Note 🔟 and 20+ ultra are the best smartphone 📱 👈 Samsung has ever created.
I hope they at least get a Note 2️⃣1️⃣ with
    Snapdragon 888,
    KEEP Micro SD card slot,
    1Tb internal storage 🤠
    4K Display 💎
    Quad speakers 🔊 🔊,
    Super camera 📸
Loose ugly dot ⚫ notch 😱
Super long life battery 🔋 etc
    Gorilla 🦍 glass 🍸 8
Then, I don’t mind as the best Note will have emerged.
    Samsung, please don’t spoil 2021. Take note 🗒! 😳

If they launch a new folding phone as the next gen Galaxy note, that would be cool.

If one of them has to go because they’re so similar then they should discontinue the plus version of the “S” series. Anyone who wants a big phone can buy the Note. They don’t have to use the pen if they don’t want to. There should never have been a large “S” in the first place. That was the job of the note. All they’ve done is create a problem where there was not one before.
Also, they will be pushing their folding phones but I do not like any folding phones. The more pieces and joins there are the higher the failure rate. Also the screens are fragile. Plastic disguised as glass (does not meet the definition of glass).

They should keep the note… Samsung makes so many phones that all look similar…consider the A,J,S and even C line… it wouldn’t be samsung if they didn’t have similar looking phones with crossover features. That being said, even if they decide to keep the note, they should put the stylus into other Samsung lines including the folding phones.

Samsung is releasing one version of the Note in 2021 but it probably won’t be the ultra premium version

No one is saying to kill the S pen, but the Note line, so it shouldn’t matter to anyone as long as they keep the same features we had

    December 2, 2020 at 1:51 pm

I like the note, but the phones that came after note 8 are both lacking features present in previous notes and vastly overpriced.

    December 2, 2020 at 1:55 pm

I disagree theres alot more that wants the note over the S, I say kill the S lineup keep the note cos we need that slot for the S pen theres no way im buying a S ultra where I can’t put the s pen in the slot and how will it charge like the tabs I dont think so makes more sense to keep the note and kill the S lineup

the s and note series is pretty much the same with the note having the s pen and being a little better

i wouldnt mind if they cut the note and add the s pen to the s series and just make 1 powerful phone

or cut the s series and just make the note series

    same difference

Sadly, it does make sense to fade out the Note line with the improvements in S models – but the foldable units really aren’t tough enough yet, let alone affordable.

    December 2, 2020 at 9:47 pm

They should just keep the s21, s21+, s21fe. And make the Note21 as the default ultra phone.

I love my note20 ultra, and I’ve had many notes… but I also agree. Let it die, the only thing I love about it is the squares shape and screen, and that’s not enough reason to keep an entire production line/team

If Samsung don’t someone should and probably will build the spiritual succcesor to the note line.

Hmmmph!! The LEAST Samsung could do is let note lovers know that {2021} will be the last note so we will know ahead of time for NEXT year instead of dumping it on us all at once. Yeah there have been rumors in the past but, it’s a pretty rotten thing to do to their loyal Note fans this way. Then to find out there will be s pen support with S21—buuuuut!! Ur gonna have to pay extra for the s pen, extra for a case to hold the s pen and then I have been reading a lot that there will be no charger in the box! So, Samsung says “no problem cause we may give 100.00 off and there ya go! We save u 100.00 so you can use it to buy all the other stuff we r NOT providing”!! Wow!! Samsung really knows how to keep Note fans happy! Not cool Samsung!!!🤨🤨

I worked multiple jobs as college just to get Note 3 – up until now I know I got more than my money’s worth. Got the Note 5, Note 8 and now Note 10+. Killing Note series is way off early. Tho S series with an s pen may help compensate. Still – it’s sad as a note fan myself 😥

I don’t know if I would say the note was really about experimentation even though it did serve as that to an extent. Note is all about power users, the “gimme-all-u-got” phone. I think they should be killing all these note lites etc and just leave the note as the king of the hill. What’s a note without the high octane!

Where is the demand for these foldable phones? I want to be able to browse with one hand, not be forced to unfold for that. I also don’t want a thicker phone just so I can use a portable tablet. Where is the value in Motorola’s super long display? I honestly still see the phone and tablet as two separate devices, at least right now.

They have been saying since the Note 7 that the Note line was going away. But yet it is still here. It is the new phone just before Apple’s IPhone comes out. They aren’t going to put a 2k dollar phone against a 1200 dollar IPhone. The folding phones are there yet. They need to make more improvements, use the best cameras, add a pen, and lower the price before they will get rid Note line. They need to do what they did in the past. The Note phones have the newest chip and memory over the S series and be the power user phone too. I’m glad they did the 865+ on the Note 20 over the 865 on the S series and a few other things. Hopefully it is just another year of bad rumors that they have been saying for years now.

Why not make note and s together make note ultra, s plus and regular s only note be most premium and have s pen use and folds have its own category note is and has always been the best contender to the iPhone. It fixed everything wrong with the s series made it better and faster. Me personally think its a dumb move for samsung a lot of note fans gonna jump ship
