They literally haven’t used DeepSeek, are you blind? Plus it’s not capable of talking yet

The workout thing you could’ve just searched or asked someone you know.
And the gift thing just makes me sad. I’d rather receive an unwashed fork than know someone used a chatbot to get me a gift

Imagine being that mad at an internet program.

@@theuglywolf2536I feel like the anger here is pretty clearly directed at the person’s lack of caring enough about you to come up with a gift themself…

Both of these are easily searchable with a zillion articles written by actual humans
@LuckeGabriel
February 5, 2025 at 3:46 pm
What AI doesn’t have that sites do is annoying authors writing styles that tries to put personality into the article that I hate as it wastes my time. Then theres sponsors and bias. AI is able to take your specific info and craft something tailored to you. It is a much more streamlined experience compared to the old style of web surfing.

Yes and some times you don’t want to look at zillion articles, just a straight answer, I use chatgpt almost everyday for different purposes

@@LuckeGabriel god forbid you interact with another person. Plus, it said “squats and push ups”! That’s first day of gym class stuff! 🤣

AI only works when you know what you want and you are able to evaluate them
@derekanderson6708

this information is neither helpful nor optimistic for how people make decisions, which should be making decision on their own. also, that workout routine has been online since the 90s.
@Kjos_jax
February 5, 2025 at 4:59 pm
you needed a chatbot to tell you something anyone, anywhere, could tell you… That wouldn’t even be an efficient use of google, much less a chatbot. Who knew what squats were or how to do them!?
@aaroncooper4237
February 5, 2025 at 5:48 pm
Unironically, if I found out a gift someone got me was recommended to them by AI, I would return the gift and stop talking to them. You’re telling me you can’t take 5 minutes out of your day to think about someone you care about?
@DizzyDiddy
February 5, 2025 at 9:54 pm
Harsh. I wouldn’t assume they just vlindly followed the AI’s suggestion. They still have to follow through on getting/making you something and there is evaluation on their part to make sure the AI’s suggestions are appropriate for you in particular.

I almost died yesterday, or at VERY least, went into cardiac arrest. Apparently, being too high on, OR too low on potassium results in the same negative effects. It causes heart complications, poor blood flow, numbness, tingle sensations especially in the limbs, fatigue, weakness, the feeling of feeling overly heavy as if you can’t move due to being too weak, and shortness of breath. I felt like I had to force myself to breathe manually. Also, the same effects can happen due to having too much protein, and even magnesium in some cases. I’ve also been running AND (intermittent) fasting EVERY single day, too. Don’t overdo any of those things like I’ve been doing. I almost died. I’m scared about what to do and NOT do now tbh… the doctors didn’t ENTIRELY know what caused it, so I can only generalize, which scares me. Now I’m afraid of what to, and what NOT to do

The truth is there is nothing Intelligent about AI. It’s just faster. And in most cases, just makes our brains lazy.
