I don’t see any innovation. It looks exactly like a ICE truck. They didn’t start this as a new platform. Just replacing engine won’t cut it.

I must say. Bitcoin’s price action has been fluctuated throughout the past few days and weeks, with bulls and bears both reaching a clear impasse, the aggregated crypto currency market has been following in Bitcoin’s lead and is struggling to garner any decisive momentum. One analyst is now noting that BTC has been holding above a key macro level throughout the past few months. He believes that the recent consolidation above this level bodes well for its near-term outlook and could indicate that significantly further upside is imminent in the weeks and months ahead. Tips like this are why it’s advisable for investors and newbies to trade with the help of pro traders like Gilbert Mateo. He is always one step ahead of other traders, He fully monitored all my trades to avoid me making mistakes and losing my money. My earnings have increased drastically from 1.01 BTC to 6.700 BTC in just 4 weeks using His strategy. You can easily get hold of him for a pr0fitable system on TE-LE-GRAM @ matgilbert

If your answer to, “what is the major challenge?” is, “we need government incentives/subsidies”, you’re misguided.
The major bottleneck is batteries, range, and charging infrastructure.
Tesla Semi is 500+ miles using tabless battery architecture, and will be autonomous long term.

As long as they are using existing platforms they will never get pass 150 miles of range. I don’t understand why legacy automakers they don’t want to innovate and they just want to play it safe.

It’s good for local companies but at a large scale over the roads drivers barely have space to park in NY highway shoulders and ramps ………
where are they going to put chargers ?
Leon Ramkumar
August 17, 2021 at 8:00 am
At the depot, where these park at night. They won’t need to charge them that often during the day. In Europe and the UK, I can see that BP and Shell and offering a lot of charging solutions through partnerships and via their own forecourts. I haven’t used one yet as I have my own charger at home, and I tend to find the Tesla network easier and faster when I’m out, but other drivers are definitely using them.

Manhattan, eh? The island? So, these trucks will be driving over bridges and thru tunnels all day long… Huh, hopefully, when one of these spontaneously combusts, it won’t be in one of the tunnels or on a bridge. Hopefully it won’t be on one of the streets surrounded by highrises. Hopefully they’ll be able to put out the fire in less than a day or two…
On the bright side, at least they’re not Tiderbox, I mean Tesla.

Great news, New York already has a pretty clean energy supply. Over half of new yorks energy supply in 2015 was renewable, hydro or nuclear. The other 40% was mainly natural gas, and the proportion of renewable energy is increasing. New York actually uses less electricity than it did in 2005. Source:
