Do you think Xbox will eventually stop making physical games? Or stop producing hardware consoles?

I hope not. Disc games are more affordable even tho they said years ago digital would be way cheaper.

@@Darkreven94 no actually with the new law that was passed where digital storefronts need to inform people they are no longer buying games they’re just purchasing a lease to rent the game.
The rise for physical media is returning. The more people see this the more they will want to purchase the game physically.
The Sony disc drives externally sell out.
No they will not stop making disk drives for consoles.
They’re just testing things to see what would happen.

@@DaveTheeMan-wj2nk Oh, that’s interesting, I didn’t know that about the law. However, I disagree—games will soon be mostly digital because most players prioritize convenience and will continue to prefer digital formats. Even those who might prefer physical copies are unlikely to boycott these brands, ensuring digital’s dominance. A good example is Apple, which removed the headphone jack despite millions still using wired headphones. Although there was initial backlash, six years later, AirPods are the best-selling headphones, generating more revenue than entire companies. Whether players prefer physical copies is irrelevant; manufacturers don’t care if the transition to digital is by choice or necessity, as long as it happens.

Stop Crying about not having physical games. PC has been all digital for a long time already. Digital Storefronts can have sales that physical media doesn’t have. Like with older games and a publisher sale or some kind of event such as Cyber Monday or Christmas people can purchase an entire library of games for a fraction of the retail cost.

Standard white controller that requires AA batteries from 2004.
No disc drive so you can no longer play any blu-rays or DVDs or music CDs or own any of the games you purchase.
Oh yeah wow this is so exciting Xbox
