Exactly! Why is it considered beautiful to be weak? This is like foot binding and fake pockets all over again

Being “feminine” varies by culture , and is absolutely the main value of attraction for a partner.

Most men don’t want a woman to have masculine features..sure lift and be healthy but beauty is in the balance
@Captainwafflefry
October 21, 2025 at 10:23 pm
If men think muscles are a masculine feature then that sounds like a personal problem
@chrisp1582
October 21, 2025 at 10:42 pm
@Captainwafflefry You clearly missed the point. Muscles are human nature, but large muscles are masculine. See the difference yet?
@chrisp1582
October 21, 2025 at 10:44 pm
And if you want to get big muscles, then good luck finding a man that’s interested. That’s not a personal problem, it will become your personal problem.

The dedication and lifestyle it takes for a girl to become muscle-y, she’ll find some like minded gym bro that appreciates it
@chrisp1582
October 22, 2025 at 12:08 am
@ruvamsiYes, but those scenarios are still limited. You’re disregarding the length of time to develop to that point and then still find a man that’s interested. I didn’t say it wasn’t possible. Just limiting your cards on the table. You’re providing a pretty small scale example there.

Most women will not look like Arnold even with years of hard training and steroids…. Even true for most guys😂
@oscarnessbach1284

0 women could ever look like Arnold assuming they went through female puberty, even on every steroid ever

Yeah this also isn’t a “male bias” thing. It’s women afraid a gym body will make them less attractive, which is the opposite of true.
Just a little cut looks great on a woman, and it takes years to get there.

Resistance training is all good and fine, but I would be careful going in the deep end with this stuff, bc you can easily cause chronic pain, muscle imbalances and postural issues down the line if you don’t know how to move properly or activate the right muscles.
Especially with heavy compound movements while not engaging your core well and causing problems for yourself.

This is a good message, a catalogue cover fakery is not who women should want to be

To be honest I am a bigger guy and go to the gym now for 1 1/2 years.
I have been part of many communities over the years, but non was so supportive and welcoming as the lifting people where.
Yeah there are more man, but never have I ever seen cat calling and I am very sure that there is a big fella around that would intervene quickly.
(Maybe not in an McFit or something similar cheap and crappy)

“the male bias in gym culture is literally everywhere”.
When have gyms ever excluded women ?. Seriously do whatever you want. Why has every single item on social media got to be presented as a part of a gender war ?.

Well, bulky muscles looks good on men. I prefer women have feminine approach to strength training and maintain body like Candice Swanepoel or any supermodels.

I remember giving a speech in junior high school where I had to argue against that bulking mindset with girl classmates! Even at a young age, ladies are unnecessarily against weight training unfortunately.
