Sorry, if you can find ten sane people in most any random circle of friends on this planet, I ‘d be surprised. Friends are indeed important — anyone who loves you, learn to cherish them, because you’ll find them few and far between.

Aww, you assumed I was raised in stability and was allowed to stay in one place long enough a. to learn how to build and maintain long-term relationships, and b. for people to be able to incorporate me into their village. Isn’t that sweet

Personally I’m surprised that you advise to send a standard message like that instead of calling or meeting that person. Sending a message will most of the time be very superficial.
