Why do we need the H1B1 visa for the finance sector?

Now American companies have a choice – hire foreign guy on 100 k salary or American guy for up to 200 k. Let’s see what they go for.

No company will pay 200K for an entry-level programmer. If you are extremely talented then its possible that too in AI/ML field.

Spread out over the life of their contract it’s not much of a deterrent. It’s not enough.

Dekh rahe ho na bhartiyon. Hume aur jyada behtar aur kabil banna padega, yahan tak ki dusre deshon ke engineers aur scientists se bhi behtar hona hoga. Iske liye hume aur jyada mehnat karne ki zarurat hai. Hume khud apne balboote aaj ki technogies se jyada behtar technogies ka nirman karna hoga. Yahi apne desh me rehte hue. Jo chizen asambhav lag rahi hai unhe sambhav karke dikhana hoga. Tabhi duniya humari kimat ko samjhenge, aur hum surakshit rahenge.

We have many many college graduates as well as experienced tech workers begging for jobs right now. We don’t need that many foreign workers in this sector. They are hiring people abroad cheaper and to force them to work longer hours.

Hire US engineers, that is how you solve this. Why would she have evidence of malfeasance with regards to H1b, she benefits from how it was working. It’s all BS coming out of her mouth.

Exactly! America has the top engineering universities in the world, and they have the audacity to say that there is no skilled workers in the US, and that we need to continue keep bringing in the Sandeeps.

There are companies dedicated to take advantage of foreign workers, by bringing them to the U.S., pay them a very low salary and make deals with other companies, so they can get a huge profit.

she hasn’t seen any evidence of H1B misuse 😂… you actually have to make an effort to not see it. Cognizant and Tata consulting are sweatshop madrasas. If this is actually the top talent you claim it is then $100k is not much, but we all know it isn’t. Ohh spirito santo Luigi save us from Wall st 😂

My personal experience . :- I go to USA on Business Visa sponsored by Indian company to Understand work there from an American (who eventually will be laid off) . I come back to India train sub standard so called engineers , whose communication skills are also questionable they go to America on H1b in hundreds . The Taxi driver who I was using in US was smart enough to do that job. Its multi decade long scam .
