I’ll stick with my Lasko $50 fan (air mover) from Costco.

Your air mover moves hot air on very hot days.

Perfect for car camping on a site with AC power. Been to a lot of those.

Link needs to be fixed, goes to a Pixel Watch, lol. Waaaaaay overpriced for a little bit of relief IMHO, pass on this one. If you want equal results, just buy a tent that’s insulated, it works great and is 1/4 the price of this.
@NextNate03
August 19, 2025 at 12:37 pm
Go watch other reviews.
Its works way better. Plus it is also a space heater.
It is not overpriced when comparing it to other similar portable ac/heater units.

This setup might be nice if you can afford it, but I have a Coleman tent with a built-in flap for a window AC unit. As long as you’re camping site has electric, I bought a $150 window AC unit that I plug in to cool my tent. Easy and cheap!
@NextNate03
August 19, 2025 at 12:54 pm
Does your window ac unit also have a built-in space heater?
Ecowave 3 does.
It uses a Heat pump.

@@NextNate03AC only. I am in Florida where it is warm all year. No need for heat!

$2200 for the unit not including the battery no thank you
@NextNate03
August 19, 2025 at 12:29 pm
Where did you find the price?
It was never 2200 in the 1st place!
Its on sale right now for 899, regular price is 1299.
Sale price with the battery is 1499. Regular price is 2198.
That is on ecoflow website.

An AC can be diy’ed for less than that
@NextNate03
August 19, 2025 at 12:33 pm
Nobody can dyi an ac unit.
The closest thing is a swamp cooler. Yes, its cheap to build. You need to keep on filling it up with store bought ice (when camping).
Swamp coolers are only effective in low humidity climates.
Otherwise it can make the room hotter in higher humidity areas.
@adventurousloner
August 19, 2025 at 1:34 pm
@@NextNate03just because you can’t doesn’t mean nobody else can. There’s multiple ways to make an AC. Some methods do not require refrigerants or compressors or copper tubing. And, they are electrical devices.
@NextNate03

@@adventurousloner
That is the only way to make a ac.

Its cheaper than buying a RV.

Or a trailer.

I just rigged a $99 window AC and ran off a cheap generator. Actually the generator and AC unit combined is under $400.

Thank you for this video. It looks like you had the inflow and outflow next to each other while testing in your tent. I am wondering if you would have had better results if you had the outflow on the opposite side of the tent. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to future videos.

Wouldn’t it be better if the “hot air sucking” duct were positioned on the upper part of the tent? If possible, of course. I mean, ideally the hot air in part should be outside (not even need a duct), but I can understand if outside is just too hot to begin working with and basically turbo-ing the process by using the same air from inside the tent. But still, try to put the hot air in-take duct were hot air stays: the top of the tent!. And cold air stays below, so that part is perfect.

@NextNate03
August 19, 2025 at 2:55 pm
No its not, RVs and camping trailers also have ac.
*Edit*
You don’t have to spend 20,000 to 150,000+ on a rv/camper to get ac.
