If 1/3 of the lift is performed by the car body how does that effect handling on the ground? You don’t really want to loose wheel grip if you’re going around a corner at any speed.

The 1/3 lift is with the wings open.

Flying car my a***** this is 80% plane with just some car like features….. we all forget to talk about the fact that from the way this thing drives, the controls and the drive train or the materials and other parts are not car parts at all and most of all fluying cars are somehow an expensive inconvenience joke because the complexities and requirements required to operate this. And for the love of God this thing is louuud imagine hunders of them whooshing over your neighborhood 24/7 you can say bye bye to home quiet comfort… don’t even get me started on the accidents. The tech is just not ready from a car perspective. Cars are meant to stay on the ground.

It flew a distance of 80 Kilometers in one hour? That’s the speed of my ebike. 2-seater, no baggage, clumsy, impractical and too expensive. Keep walking!

Just like in the Jetson’s! So I guess you need two license’s I don’t think everyone would be able to get a pilot’s license

The car that can fly!! It is by far the coolest automotive marvel I have seen in recent memory. A major technological breakthrough that can possibly become commercially viable in near future.. of course a uber tech for ultra rich 😄

Nah but good luck with that too much to fly and not common I would rather have someone take me with a portable air taxi.

I will not spend my money for 500K-1Mil no way. I prefer to be served by crew traveling elsewhere domestic U.S. w/o worrying tons of things to think about…

Pretty cool but not for me

So, it’s a light aircraft you can (theoretically) park at home, potentially saving on parking fees… all the other expenses and hassles of airplane ownership apply, however. Not really a game changer.

Even if it gets FAA approval in the US, I don’t see it passing US-DOT requirements to drive on the road 🤨!

EVTOL concept seems more sensible. Literally no one has the time or runways.

Officer tries to pull you over for speeding and just fly away. Perfect 😂

Basically a private plane which can be put in your garage 🙂

If it’s not ion propulsion or anti-gravity I’m not considering it a flying car.

When you serve two masters you never serve either fully. Compromises are made here, both as a car and as an airplane. As a result, neither is served well and dissatisfaction will be experienced in either mode of travel. Distance and carrying capacity will be limited as an airplane. Cargo volume and practicality as a road car will be disappointing. Passenger limits in both modes. A very restricted niche market for nouveau riche looking for notoriety, novelty, and bragging rights.

Cool, but it’s not the one. I think the Jetson 1 is more like it

It looks difficult to land. Much less clearance than a typical Cessna 172, etc. I see that being very problematic
