These things have been a concept for a decade yet not a single one has made it to production.

Start ups have been trying to do this for about 10 years. Several companies have been in this space and running flights in other countries (with more relaxed laws).

These aren’t for regular people. These are for the extremely wealthy. This is so a person can get a faster trip to the airport.

This is for people who are going to spend thousands just to save time getting to the airport before a $10,000 flight or whatever.

There just aren’t many business models that could even potentially make this make sense.

YOU (or me) won’t be using one in your lifetime.

The idea also doesn’t scale well for the foreseeable future.

And don’t forget about how freakishly loud these all are. You’ve heard how loud a little drone is. They don’t magically get quieter when you make them 1000 times larger so they can seat a bunch of adults and their luggage.
