Sadly much of the progress that has been accomplished to insure more inclusion by all minorities in our political system and elsewhere in our society will likely be undone by the current administration. Resist and fight the good fight because many of us in the dominant society (I’m an old white guy) support you and value your representation.

Why is it so hard for some people to understand voters just want someone real to represent them. Say what you want about Trump, the one thing you can’t describe him as is phony. Warts and all, he’s a real person. Kamala Harris on the other hand, could anyone possibly be more fake? Well maybe one. That’d be Hillary Clinton. Interesting both times Trump won it was against a woman. Don’t ask me what that means, I’m just sayin’.

This is so far off the mark.
1st.) when you introduce yourself with pronouns (regardless of how you actually feel about them), you are alienating at minimum half of the population of the United States.
2nd.) I am not threatened by the existence of indigenous peoples. My grandfather was part Blackfoot, his mother told him “ if you can get away with not being Native American then you should”. This was a different time, that’s not where we are anymore.
3rd.) Fragmenting our country into little groups is extremely dangerous at the current time. We need to look at ourselves as Americans as a whole, not all these different labels.

Im not straight, gay, white, black, Native American, foreign born, or whatever.
I am American and I will stand by the principles on which my country was founded.

Americas foundational principal was white supremacy. Half the country’s willful blindness to that fact is exactly why we are here.

The paradox is that with every generation populations grow and new microcosm of subcultures develop. Conservatism has difficulty adapting to change because all conservative beliefs point to a 2000+ yr old text that never adapts to change.
That is the root of the differences.
Conservatives can not understand change because they themselves do not and will not change unless forced. Because conservatives will not willingly change unless they are directly affected in a negative way by their own beliefs.
Hence, when a person is unable to cope while using their beliefs they experience a crisis or breakdown between what they learned from their belief and the troubles of actual reality.
Because religious belief is not reality, it is a sugar coated reality that they consume, and have always consumed.
Mythology teaches us that people always encounter conflicts and the stories we tell each other are a way to adapt and cope.
Myth is the Dark mirror of societies. We are locked in a perpetual suffering because conservatism does not allow for change.
You can be conservative muslim, conservative christian, etc…if you are unable to accept NEW information then you will ultimately never be able to understand someone of a different culture or belief structure.
