Lifetouch (the school picture company that has an effective monopoly) is truly an awful overpriced unpersonalized service. But I bet they think they’re killing it with personalization.

I love the idea that ‘less is more’ when it comes to personalization. Fewer, more meaningful interactions definitely build trust.

“To fix the risks of personalization, it’s essential to protect personal data and privacy with strong regulations. Personalization services should be universally accessible to avoid creating divides. Instead of relying on algorithms to make decisions, individuals should be empowered with clear information and guidance, enabling them to make their own informed choices. Systems should support decision-making by offering diverse and unbiased options, while ensuring that people, especially those with fewer opportunities, have the tools to freely explore all possibilities. Transparency and accountability remain crucial to maintaining fairness.”

I think he is a Fidelity agent for advertising this brand, his motions, and body language are artificial and I can’t make a relationship between his opening scenario and his context.
