    There are actually several…zombie…bacteria that will cause necrotizing fasciitis, including the famous E. coli O157:H7. H. pylori, V. vulnificus, P. aerugonosa, etc.

    The parasite Toxoplasma gondii can infect the brains of mammals, including humans, and change behavior. Domestic cats who prey on rodents with this parasite can infect their owners…
