I have always love praying mantis. They fascinated me as a child. I found an egg case one winter. I was afraid the babies would freeze. So I took the stick it was on and put it in a jar. Of course I put holes in the lid. I wanted them to breath. I kept this in my bedroom. Then spring came. I had no idea just how tiny they would be when hatched. And they escaped the jar to go all over our house. My mother was not happy with me. I did collect all I could find as put them in our garden. But it took weeks to find them all and I was very upset to find dead ones. But this taught me that nature knows what it’s doing. And we just need to realize this. And stop harming it with our greed.

I have similar. I happen to save such tiny creatures as butterflies in a spider’s web, teeny spiders fleeing in immense horror. Mice on the road hiding in the nooks and crannies. wild kittens peering from a distance with uncertainty. We are not alone in this world

I could look at insects everyday for the rest of my life. I would love to have one or two of every bug out there…fish…crustaceans…all of it so fascinating. But as a soul who can not even bare seeing a goldfish in a bowl…I could never get a praying mantis to watch and take care of. This is why we have to watch and TAKE CARE of all wild creatures where they live.
You can tell these two gentlemen have left their hearts and souls in the Amazon. The world cares so deeply for its destruction…but what can we do when criminal governments run these countries? In the short rest of my life time…and with the mountain of things that have to change…including minds…I hope to witness a concrete plan to save the Amazon. These two gentlemen deserve our adoration and our help…
