Net zero is the wrong target. We need to bring carbon down below 350 ppm. Net zero will leave it much higher.

“I accepted to come to this meeting to have a sober and mature conversation. I’m not in any way signing up to any discussion that is alarmist. There is no science out there, or no scenario out there, that says that the phase-out of fossil fuel is what’s going to achieve 1.5C.”
    – Sultan Al Jaber, President of COP 28, also CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company

Mukhtar Babayev will be the president for COP 29; he is also a former executive of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijian Republic.

Seems more and more likely, scenario SSP5-8.5 of the IPCC assessment may come to fruition (or at least the higher end of the spectrum). I say enjoy what you can, while you still can; pity the generations to come.

Whatever the solution is, it’s has to make the elites billions or trillions in profits or else we’ll never see it.
For example, I’ve invented a power source that uses absolutely no fuel at all. And produces literally tons of torque mechanically. Now what can you do with that??
No fuel, no emissions , ask green as grass, and every neighborhood can be ran by it. But the problem is,,,it’s just don’t make enough money for the elites if the world…

So his plan is to: ‘Phase out fossil fuels. Provide a Win-Win for the World, especially for Equity and Justice!’. Killing the world economy is not going to be a win for the World, Equity , or Justice. It’s going to be a win for War, Despotism, and Repression.

Perfection isn’t human. Human beings are not perfect. What evokes our love is the imperfection of the human being. So, when the imperfection of the real person peaks through, say, ‘This is a challenge to my compassion.’ Then make a try, and something might begin to get going, a relationship of one kind or the other. *—Joseph Campbell,* Pathways to Bliss

When we tell ourself that our life will get better if someone significant to us changes, we are putting our mood in another person’s hands. That situation invites chaos and confusion, disappointment and depression. Soften what is rigid in your mind. Lasting peace comes to us through our own actions and thoughts and never through attaching our hopes on the actions and thoughts of another. Please don’t ever give another person the power to affect your emotions to the point where you need them to do something before you will feel good. Realize that the power to feel positively resides within us. Even if you are waiting for someone to apologize or acknowledge that they’ve hurt you, you are giving them power over you. Forgive them for your own sake and move forward. You will feel lighter and happier as soon as you break that emotional expectation. Live from your own center and set your intentions each day only for yourself.

    • @China-129

      February 12, 2024 at 4:38 pm

Taking responsibility for ourselves rather than trying to control others may be challenging. We may be use to telling people how they should act or even doing things for them. That is a prescription for unhappiness. Someone else’s behaviors are exclusively their responsibility. People learn by experiencing fully the consequences of their actions. People grow through experiencing the consequences of their actions. Covering up someone’s behaviors so that they escape the consequences of their actions is harmful to them and to our own integrity. Most importantly, focusing on someone else’s life keeps us from examining our own life. Spend some time at the beginning of each day setting intentions for yourself. Keep your thoughts peaceful and positive and focused on improvements you can make to your own precious and valuable life. Let everybody else focus on other life.

    Let her be confident
    Let her be brave
    Let her know beauty
    Is more than her face

    Let her be strong
Let her know her own mind
    And for the most part
    Let life be too kind

    But when it’s not –
    When the days feel tough
    Let her know she’s
    Bolstered fiercely by love

    Let her keep dreaming
    Awake or asleep
    Let her know feelings
    Do not make her weak

    So let her be gentle
    Compassionate too
    But let her be bold
In her quest for the truth

    Let the world listen
    Whenever she speaks
    Let her move mountains
    And dance at their peaks

    Let her catch galaxies,
    Comets and stars
    Let her ride moonbeams
    Like rockets to Mars

    No matter her stature
    Let her stand tall
    And most important
    And vital of all

    Let her be happy
    And know her own worth
    Know that sometimes
    She must put herself first

    And let her be proud,
    Be determined and free
    To be anything
That she chooses to be …🥀

When we are young, it’s the illusion of perfection that we fall in love with. As we age, it’s the humanness that we fall in love with- the poignant stories of overcoming, the depthful vulnerability of aging, the struggles that grew us in karmic stature, the way a soul shaped itself to accommodate its circumstances. With less energy to hold up our armor, we are revealed and, in the revealing, we call out to each other’s hearts. Where before wounds turned us off, they are now revealed as proof that God exists. Where we once saw imperfect scars, we now see evidence of a life fully lived. *~Jeff Brown*

I was glad my father was an eye-smiler. It meant he never gave me a fake smile because it’s impossible to make your eyes twinkle if you aren’t feeling twinkly yourself. A mouth-smile is different. You can fake a mouth-smile any time you want, simply by moving your lips. I’ve also learned that a real mouth-smile always has an eye-smile to go with it. So watch out, I say, when someone smiles at you but his eyes stay the same. It’s sure to be a phony. *~Roald Dahl*

The underlying need to the damaging effects of capitalism and its effects to the planet – Really whether communism, socialism or capitalism the real problem is there are too many human beings living on the planet, but it seems that all of these global issues with the climate stem from the massive exploitation of Earth to support its equally massive population. This all seemingly has happened during the rise and fall of capitalism… However, a worldwide birth control so as the natural death rate surpasses the live birth rate until the human populations of the world fall under 1 billion (1800’s levels), but ideally closer to population levels prior to the pre-industrial society. Starting with a 5 year stop birth worldwide…

A lot of just trust us, we will be fair and spread the costs and hurt to everyone. Sadly like each plan so far, the costs are all focused on the middle and lower classes, as is the sacrifice. In short he is more than willing to offer our money and our restrictions, while the leader class will do as they wish relying on our sacrifices. He’s totally not believing his own story. He’s telling us there is hope, with so much extra conviction. Wow. Completely overcompensating for what he thinks is a lie. The irony is, he is actually right. But instinctively you don’t believe him, because he doesn’t believe it himself. Worst Ted talk. So many bad choices came together when deciding how to do this. So much fear of the future and what we awful sinners are doing to the earth. And then he covers it up with a thin layer of fake optimism. It’s because of this that people lose faith alltogether.

Without the atmosphere or even just the GHGs especially WV there are no clouds, ice, snow, oceans or 30% albedo and Earth would become much like the Moon, a barren rock ball, 400 K lit side, 100 K dark thus negating the GHE. (UCLA Diviner)

“UCAR TFK 2009 GHE energy budget” uses 63 twice, a math error, and creates an “extra” 396 out of a S-B BB calculation moving energy from cooler to warmer w/o work and violating LoT.

Kinetic heat transfer processes of contiguous atmospheric molecules render a Black Body surface and “extra” GHE energy impossible.
There is no GHE or CAGW.

Science has a documented history of being wrong and abusing those who corrected it, e.g. Anaxagoras, caloric, phlogiston, plate tectonics, luminiferous ether, antiseptic surgeries, spontaneous generation, etc.

Since both GHE & CAGW climate “science” are indefensible rubbish alarmists must resort to fear mongering lies, lawsuits, censorship and violence.

So I was doing a bit of studying the other day and the idea of the bering land bridge came up which is scientifically accepted to have formed and melted countless times throughout the history of planet Earth. My question is that if vehicle and industrial co2 pollution is causing the seas to rise and glaciers to melt like they tell us…then was it vehicle and industrial co2 pollution which caused previous the climate changes and glacial melting tens of thousands of years ago? And before that? And before that? And before that? And if so…is it then quite possible that we just haven’t dug deep enough to find evidence of these ancient vehicles and technologies?

    • @valeriezaitzieff1462

      February 14, 2024 at 7:36 am

Its not industrial polution causing the glaciers to melt & the sea levels to rise. Its the solar flares emited by our sun. But no climate change activist ever mentions this because no one can control the sun or make money from the truth!
