“co-existence rather than separation” I like that idea. Not always easy in suburban areas wihich abut natural areas, but I think it’s important to do this.

I’ll never forget the time I flipped on the light to see an opossum eating the cat food outside our sliding glass doors. It looked up casually mid-munch, hesitated as if to say, “Oh, sorry, this yours? Right, I’ll just be going then,” and walked calmly away. 😂
