    The UK completely missed the tech boom of the last 2 decades. Now, they need to compete not only with the USA, but India, China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. This is a big hill to climb.

    As a tech founder building home-grown AI, I would disagree. In the UK, connections matter much more than potential for tech startups to raise funds. That’s why, most if not all UK based successful tech startups raised funds from Silicon Valley, not London. Let’s first acknowledge the problem first so that we can fix it
