No, it’s not, that’s actually used on every single modern Windows PC on the planet. It’s called a paging file. Look it up.

@Dampyr94If done correctly, which it generally is, things in memory which aren’t changing are sent to the paging file (think an app that you’re not using), and the things on memory which are changing are kept in RAM (like apps you _are_ actively using).
