    Rent will rise and push out normal tech workers. Daniel’s doing well, but the system isn’t. Housing costs have surged over 40% beyond wage growth, and AI layoffs like Salesforce’s 5,000 cuts are squeezing the middle class. Real reform means zoning for mixed-income housing, capping inflated HOAs, and replacing outdated BMR-style formulas with dynamic cost-of-living models that reflect real market conditions. If $60K can’t reach a $600K home, the failure lies in policy design, not personal effort.

    Funny…enjoy that sugar high from AI spending now, Mr. Mayor…cuz large language models will destroy offices in the next 2-3 years…the AI office apocalypse will make covid seem like child’s play.
