With their AirPod-like stems, Samsung’s open-ear Galaxy Buds 3 ($180) and flagship Galaxy Buds 3 Pro ($250) are a bit generic-looking. But both buds fit comfortably and deliver strong performance, though the Buds 3 Pro are clearly the standout model. How do they compare to other premium earbuds in their price class? CNET editor David Carnoy discusses that and more in his full video review.

Why continuous comparison with Airpod? Users don’t normally cross over the same way and stay loyal, how do they compare vs previous models?
@yubstep
August 1, 2024 at 2:15 pm
Because there’s no other comparable competitor than apple
@grahamjl766

Pretty much everyone knows what airpods sound like even airpod haters. Like them or not they are the standard.

Are you serious. Both Bose QCii and Sonys are superior and could easily be included for comparisons @yubstep

For who? Certainly not the standard when comparing to Sony or Bose buds. @grahamjl766

@@brianmccaig I’m just saying they’re the most popular, not necessarily the best. If you’re evaluating fast food restaurants, you might look at McDonald’s even though they’re clearly not the best.

Got $75 trade-in credit for old Buds I’d bought for $50. $100 for the 3 Pro is a raging bargain, and they fit and stay better than my 2 Pro.

Jabra’s final offerings are much more appealing, especially when they have more to offer. Samsung created copycat products with quality control issues, and the ecosystem exclusive features is always annoying and arrogant anti-consumer idiocy. I won’t, with my ears, get a secure fit from these to begin with.
