This technical information is great, but will it have Pong and Minesweeper?

    • @Adde-hy7wx

      March 31, 2025 at 12:18 pm

Would actually be a great idea if playstation had a free “classic games” game like a Astros playground. Just to make the ps5 feel a bit more free with games like pong, minesweeper, maybe pacman, 2048, solitaire or stuff like that. Nothing much. Just the very basics

      March 31, 2025 at 4:04 pm

It’ll play Minesweeper, but with garish graphics and it’ll set you back $6.

With $700, in my country, I’ll just get a gaming PC and and food to last me 2 weeks.

I remember when consoles used to be so comparable. Now it’s clear that PlayStation made the best one

Microsoft has the better software and interface tho. But yeah playstation definitely has them beat in hardware (i own both btw)

This seems a little too much like an ad. Sony make great stuff, but the company is off-putting to some people. They also make really cheap crap sneaking it by on brand name, and their movies tend to be very stupid.

  16. @AldrianCG

    March 31, 2025 at 3:39 pm

I thought about the liquid metal for a while, when they started to sell the vertical stance separately they must have enough data to conclude that placing the ps5 vertically can cause troubles because of the liquid metal. So, in order to deter such practice(without saying they messed up) they started to sell the accessory apart.

    • @reenachauriya4931

      March 31, 2025 at 5:32 pm

No, liquid metal is never a problem because it’s under pressure and sealed like water cooled pc don’t have problem with orientation or leaking. They’re just greedy to sell the stand seperately because it looks much better

7:25 That’s wrong – it’s GDDR6, not DDR6. GDDR has higher bandwidth but higher latency than DDR. The specifications for DDR6 haven’t been officially confirmed by JEDEC yet, and no DDR6 RAM is commercially available.

I think by the amount of thermal putty holding majority of the heatsink together you definitely compromise the cooling once disassembled and put together without carefully removing and reapplying all contact points with a similar putty.
