Trump won’t have to run again in 2028. There will be no more elections in this country. Trump will reign as king until his death. And then his cultists will rule in his name.

You make it sound like o one knew President Roosevelt had polio. That is not true. My Mother is American ( I am Canadian) and she always told us about raising 10¢ or a ‘dime’ to find a cure for Polo. She was always proud of that. Everyone knew he had polio but people had more respect for him and how he coped with the disease. They knew he was the right man for President as he was the only and last person to be in office for 4 years. But everyone knew about his polio and everyone respected his right to keep it quiet and let him do his job. About the small pox, it was wise of George Washington to inoculate his troops against ‘small pox’. As the British were known to use ‘small pox’ as a weapon. They did successfully in Upper and Lower Canada, (now Quebec and Ontario). They contaminated their Hudson Bay Blankets with the small pox virus and therefore many First Nations people died. So good for George, he was smart.

No that’s not why Truman’s middle name was “S.” It was “S”because both his maternal and paternal grandfathers names began with “S” and his parents couldn’t decide between “Solomon” or “Shipp.”

It’s worth mentioning that according to the fine print of the 22nd Amendment, it didn’t apply to Harry Truman. Truman could have run for as many terms as he wanted, and he was actually expected to run for reelection in 1952. But discontent over the Korean War really hurt his popularity, and he withdrew once it became obvious he’d have a tough fight just getting renominated.

  19. @Cb20345

Unless Republicans think they are doomed without Trump, he ain’t running in 2028. That’s why they picked Vance.

For the record, we do NOT have a Two Party System. We have a Two Party DOMINANT System. Its a bit of a difference but necessary because a traditional two party system would not allow for a third party option no matter how viable.

At 16:40, describing a tariff: it is an import tax. The entity importing (usually a business) is taxed. That increases their cost so usually that gets put into the price sold to consumers. The export country does NOT raise prices—they do nothing different.
Tariffs inject inefficiency into the economy by interfering with pricing.

  38. @michaeldean1934

    January 15, 2025 at 7:39 pm

Sorry, Ms. Chervinsky, but I have to disagree with you. First it says he cannot be elected, not that he can’t run. Also, I believe that the Supreme Court ruling in Trump v. Anderson was that state election officials could not determine eligibility for Federal offices and, since the states RUN the Presidential Election, could not leave his name off the ballot. So the answer is that yes, he COULD run for President in 2028, but if he were to be reelected Congress or the Supreme Court would be forced to determine he was ineligible to serve and who would then replace him (Or allow him to serve and make the Constitutional requirements essentially meaningless….)

    January 16, 2025 at 7:30 pm

I was going to come in here and complain about the thumbnail(it was could trump run in 2028?) being incredibly clickbaity and then I really thought about it. And I mean technically (going straight off the amendment not any court cases or other laws I may not know about) there’s nothing saying he can’t run in 2028. It simply says he can’t be elected. Technically, in a chain of insane extremely unlikely events,Trump could be president in 2025. He could be elected to congress and then be elected speaker of the house and then both the president and VP could die somehow and then Trump could be president. Wild stuff.

so there are no limits on how many years a president can serve in office, only terms they can be elected.

Someone could succeed into the office an unlimited number of times despite that being very unlikely for practical reasons.

  66. @GarikDuvall

    January 16, 2025 at 7:55 pm

The Pres certainly does NOT have access to all classified info. Presidents come and go and some programs are too valuable to risk on that. That is why a President can’t just go to Area 51, or waltz into the CIA to read their files, etc. What the President CAN do is declassify anything, but he does not have access to every SAP or uSAP programs in the gov. You should know better than that as a Presidential scholar.

2:18 the REASON we have only two parties is because both of those parties actively engage in dirty tricks to keep independent and third party candidates OFF THE BALLOTS! Why do you think so few people even heard about JILL STEIN’s 2024 presidential run?

This question is so dumb. No

  108. @ScarletFever109

    January 20, 2025 at 2:25 am

The two term presidency tradition was started after George Washington decided not to seek a third term. Franklin Rosevelt was elected four times thus breaking the tradition. Trump can’t run in 2028.

  109. @0zzzzz

    January 20, 2025 at 7:06 am

The music is terrible and distracting – why, why, why after each question! Also, it is widely inappropriate for this topic. It was so distracting I couldn’t finish this video, although I am very interested in the topic.

  113. @danielskrivan6921

    January 20, 2025 at 1:40 pm

14:35 There’s also a big difference between Presidents who were plantation owners that bought and traded slaves like livestock, and Presidents who may have at one point owned a slave because they were given one as a gift by a relative.

  114. @danielskrivan6921

    January 20, 2025 at 1:55 pm

The video overall sounded impartial, except whenever January 6 was brought up. Did you seriously downplay the cessation that led to the civil war and 620,000 deaths, and try to make it sound like a few drunken idiots running loose through the capitol building (in which there was one death unrelated to the “insurrection”) was a more significant incident?

Okay before I even start watching this video based on the cover photo if anyone is actually going to ask if Trump can run again they really need to go back to school. Not only can he not run again he couldn’t even be vice president because there’s a possibility he could be president and that’s not allowed. I didn’t even finish high school and I know this stuff.

  122. @shadycnetwork

    January 20, 2025 at 7:43 pm

As of 41 year old I’ll speak on this. No the political divide was never this bad. Growing up in the 90s people were close friends with people politically opposite of them. People even dated and married people who were politically opposite James carville and Mary matalin are the perfect example of this. He worked for the Clinton administration and she worked for the bush administration. I’m somewhere in the center politically. But I’ve dated women who were extremely right-wing and extremely left wing.. your political views was just part of who you were. Nowadays people have made it their entire identity. Another example George w bush is pro-life and Laura Bush is pro-choice.

  123. @mitchellheimann

And yes, Trump will run again in28. If he is functional at 82, he will argue, again, he was “robbed” of his first term so he gets a do over, like a child would argue, he will push through a Const Amendment or dare the Supreme Court to reverse his decision and this Court won’t. He might just run Don Jr., etc, with himself as special advisor, wink wink, or Sec State, etc., like Kingfish.
