This is great watch for listening to podcasts without your phone on you. Much better battery life than the previous generations.

I’m just glad they finally made this stretch band available for the 45 mm version of the watch literally the only reason why I didn’t get the 45 mm

This one and the 2 tone leather with the nice fitting adapter to put on 3rd party bands were the main reasons for me to stay with 41. Unfortunately only the stretch band made it. And the matte finish of the other leather band just doesn’t fit look wise (matte vs polished steal)…

As a Garmin user it is crazy that the stand by time is communicated in hours instead of days.

Well the Garmin is a fitness watch not a smart watch. It doesn’t have a powerdraining chipset to allow it to do smart things, just mirror what’s on your phone, which doesn’t take a lot of battery. For 99.9% of people who live near a power source for a majority of their lives, just throwing the watch on a charger takes like 2 seconds.
The day Garmin can make a watch that allows me to go on runs without the need of carrying a phone then I’ll call it a smartwatch. But acting as a notification and heart rate device doesn’t take much to power.

As an Ex-Garmin consumer I can’t believe the prices Garmin wants people to pay. $1500 for a Fenix 8 or $730 for a very underwhelming Instinct 3. Garmin is trying really hard to make an inexpensive sport like running into the opposite.

Does 45mm pixel watch 3 band fit on 45 watch 4?

Cool! The PW4 should get 4 days of battery life like the PW3 does when the gimmicky health features are disabled. Watch bands are cheesy, but that’s what third party bands are for.

“Gimmicky health features” nice way to say you don’t exercise. Never knew why people get smartwatches to just treat them as notification devices. Just get like an Amazefit or something it’ll last longer.

@@BruceLeeRoy26I didn’t know I needed a smartwatch to be exercising. The last time I checked having health features doesn’t make a smartwatch smart as that’s an add-on. There is absolutely nothing beneficial about health monitoring on a smartwatch as it provides no benefit too exercising whatsoever. No health professional nor any fitness professional ever uses such a thing as they use a certified medical device.. Next time you make an ignorant comment make sure you do some research because it’s obvious you have no clue what you’re talking about. Let’s not even mention how poorly optimized Wear OS is when it comes using it for fitness purposes as it is absolute joke in the medical field and in the fitness field. Just because the gimmick is on a smartwatch doesn’t mean all people need to use it.
