Thanks for watching! Which phone wins the comparison for you? Team Pixel or Team iPhone?

Team Consumer! I love how great technology has gotten to where now, a midrange can do most of our needs. I remember seeing differences in the old days of like the early Galaxys and iPhones and it’d always be a huge difference in camera quality. Then, I swear, the last two years it’s like “oh wait I think this one is better if I zoom in on the photo and look at this speck of grass” lol. But in all reality, I feel like they are peaking. Traditional cameras will, for the time being, be better, but for now, in my humble opinion, there are diminishing returns on smartphone cameras.

Pixel $50 cheaper, double the storage.

    • Dieulens Victor

      August 3, 2020 at 11:11 pm

and it’s actually $100 more to get the same storage on the iPhone SE

    • Travel Guys

      August 4, 2020 at 12:34 am

And SE you have wireless charging and iP 67 with A13

    Pixel hands down

  4. melvinx01

    August 3, 2020 at 10:49 pm

although of course if you want to view those photos on the phones, the SE is 750 x 1334 and the 4a is 1080 x 2340 and has an extra 1.1 inch on the display…..

  8. Mike G

    August 3, 2020 at 11:04 pm

One of the best camera comparisons. I agree with the verdict. 4a for still photography and SE for video. Although recording video eats up the storage quickly especially at 4K so maybe the 4a’s 128 GB base storage has the edge when it comes to video as well?

    • Lexy Savvides

      August 4, 2020 at 12:08 am

Yeah great point, 4K eats up storage so quick!

  9. Anthony Vallejo

    August 3, 2020 at 11:06 pm

I honestly think iPhone looks the best. But that’s just my opinion.

  10. Joseph Dawson

    August 3, 2020 at 11:07 pm

I was shocked by the lack of quality on the 4a audio. Also, for $50 more, you get a phone with 3X more CPU power for apps and games. So as much as I find this a crazy statement, Apple has the better value for money here.

    • Surya Narayan

      August 4, 2020 at 12:07 am

Yes, I second that. Apple has done a great job and way ahead of Pixel 4a

  11. Dieulens Victor

    August 3, 2020 at 11:21 pm

I know you’re an Apple fan but let’s be honest here, bigger screen, more storage, OLED display, not LCD, $100 less, yes because the iPhone SE 128 GB is $100 more. Night mode, no notch, bezeless But Overall Pixel win

  12. Adewunmi Ifedayo

    August 3, 2020 at 11:21 pm

The pixel has its astro thing and night mode but the iphone has better potrait and lots of other potrait options and video…… these phones just make you realize how slightly premium the oneplus Nord is

  13. Adewunmi Ifedayo

    August 3, 2020 at 11:28 pm

the pixel doesnt have neural core for good snapchat and post image processing is slower Because there is no visual core chip like flagship pixels…. apple knew what they were doing with the A13…………. the pixel would performs maybe badly in three years time but it’d be a good value for money then though

  14. Frank Morgan

    August 3, 2020 at 11:31 pm

The lightning port is the biggest turn off. Usb-c for the win!

  17. Tian Laur

    August 4, 2020 at 12:03 am

Pixel 4a = Better camera stills, bigger battery, 2x storage, larger screen and $50 cheaper.
IPhone se = premium build, powerful processor, better video camera, longer software support.

Phew this is a tough one! I choose iPhone?

  18. Hanzo Aditya

    August 4, 2020 at 12:05 am

Great photos are not made by how good the camera nor the image processing/ softwares, but great photography skill.. like, Lexy..

    August 4, 2020 at 12:18 am

The audio from video is way better on the Pixel. It sounds natural whilst the iPhone sounds like you’re using a boom box.

  21. Michael B. Vélez

Besides the double base storage, the Pixel has unlimited Google Photos storage. It’s a no brainer unless you really want an iOS device.

I’m an iPhone user now but was an Android user just a few months ago when I switched to Apple with the iPhone SE, however I gotta say Google put out a great contender to the iPhone SE and I will get one just to have the best of both worlds.

  36. Tony Nicklow

    August 4, 2020 at 6:02 pm

such a lier. It’s $50 cheaper than the 64GB it’s actually $100 cheaper than the comparable storage iPhone SE. The Pixel also has a bigger higher Res OLED than the iPhone with double the RAM. The Pixel is a much much better value.

  38. Tekkendero

    August 4, 2020 at 6:47 pm

Pixel 4a won… also the freedom of transferring files from your windows pc without using apps to your pixel 4a is a extra caviar.

  39. Anthony Mendenhall

    August 4, 2020 at 6:51 pm

    TLDR:

IPhone takes better videos, Pixel takes better pictures.

  40. Efe Chief

    August 4, 2020 at 6:59 pm

The pixel has always had a better camera than the iphone so I don’t see anyone already using a ios device making the switch. This is about the overall package and there isn’t enough here for iphone folks to abandon ios for Android.

  41. J o n a t h a n

    August 4, 2020 at 7:05 pm

I’m so unsure which to choose 😫 I like the se cuz I love iOS & already have AirPods and an iPad but the 4a’s screen & battery is so much better

  42. Jordan Bond

    August 4, 2020 at 7:29 pm

Love the fruit shirt. I use an iPhone 11 Pro and am tempted by the 4a after using hubs’ 3a for astrophotography. My AirPods have connectivity issues quite often and the messages on my Apple Watch are never in sync with my iPhone. They both drive me crazy and the little things are adding up against Apple. SE vs 4a: I think the 4a takes marginally better photos than the SE.

  43. Chandler

    August 4, 2020 at 8:36 pm

They really should’ve included night mode on the SE

  44. Joel Ngandu

    August 4, 2020 at 9:15 pm

If only Google pixels had samsung’s hardware, they would the best in everything

  45. Linda Mitchell

    August 4, 2020 at 9:42 pm

Pixel 4a wins in the camera department hands down and iPhone SE wins in the video department because of a slight edge in stabilization. I like the design of the Pixel 4 more especially the bigger screen and battery. They’re both great deals for the price. Pixel 4 is the winner for me. I might be biased towards Pixel 4a because I enjoy the Android ecosystem more.

    Ohh you’re beautiful 🤗

  47. David Martrano

    August 4, 2020 at 11:06 pm

Very good detailed review, the 4a wins it for me but both are very 👍 good!

  48. Victor Ganguly

    August 5, 2020 at 12:17 am

Pixel has HDR best in Selfie camera in Outdoor Background!! SE does not have..She dosnt show that..Even Pixel comes 50 US Dollars less with 128 gb Storage, OLED Panel with Large Screen and Screen to Body Ratio, Stereo Speakers, Night Mode..Flagship Kinda Features

  49. Manny M.

    August 5, 2020 at 12:53 am

Also clearest phone calls are from iPhones. So many advantages exclusive in iPhones not in pixel. As far as I know, the best video and front camera for selfies and videocalls are in iPhones. And ease of use. But pixel phones will be better choice for some people esp the built in night mode and best rear photos but there are apps for night mode in iPhones and rear photos in SE is great too. Most midrange phones are not water resistant without optical stabilisation….esp midrange android phones with big AMOLED screen (better for heavy gaming and watching). So this pixel 4a is water resistant if you want android as a great phone with great photos and small 90hz display. iPhone is best as being a phone while android midrange is best for their great big screens. As for battery, there is smart battery case for iPhone SE. But those who buy SE don’t normally use them heavily as gaming and watching device so they last more than a day.
