    If the clips shown in this interview are any indication, Pika is going to be amazing in terms of turning ideas into video. Of course, the same issues associated with text-based generative AI offerings like ChatGPT and Bard probably apply here as well. Specifically, what claims do rightsholders have with respect to content that Pika was trained on? Also, are there any safeguards to prevent the technology from being used by bad actors to create deepfake content? Fortunately, issues like these are now well-known and I’d be surprised if solutions (even if only tentative ones) haven’t been formulated to address them. In any event, there’s certainly no shortage of creativity out there; and it’ll be fascinating to see how Pika helps unlock this once it’s “in the wild”.
