4:16:58* Let’s only take a moment to appreciate how much hours and work she put in this vid?*
*It’s unbelievable, and I think they deserve a lot more than that*

00:38 📸 Photo stacking is a technique to capture movement by layering multiple images taken over time.
01:40 🌊 Patterns in nature, like waves and spirals, become visible through flight trails.
02:47 🦇 Bats use high-pitched shouts to navigate, and many creatures sense their surroundings in ways beyond human perception.
03:23 🐦 Birds, like starlings, make group decisions at speeds too fast for human perception, revealing hidden intelligence in seemingly chaotic behavior.
04:34 🌍 The environment holds a rich tapestry of sensory information, from sounds to smells, that extend beyond our usual perception.

She looks but she doesn’t fully see what the human is capable of seeing. Watching the non-Indian explore their world view is sometimes like watching a child trying to figure things out. She needs to speak for herself and not claim to know what is “beyond” human perception.

“Explore there world view” so well said.

The way to help a child to expand their knowledge and perspective is not to talk down to them, but to hold out our hands to help them step up. Your perspective is narrower than hers is. Humanity is what matters, not only one part of Humanity

    • Wabanaki Warrior - Mi'kmaw Indian of Mi'kma'ki

      November 8, 2023 at 1:55 pm

@Krista I’m calling out her false assumptions and her exclusion. I’m not looking for forgiveness in the manner I did it. I did in the way I did, to show how it feels. You also correct a child when they get out of line, do you not?

      November 8, 2023 at 1:59 pm

@Rockysage I’m talking about the settler colonist always excluding the indigenous world view as if THEIR perception is the pinnacle of humankind’s ability to see the world around them. ( I can assure you, it is NOT)

I’m pointing out that fact the Patrick Wolfe is correct when he stated: Settler colonialism i’snt an event, it’s a structure.

This is very similar to what fascinates me about Stratacut animation. Thinking in space/time and building a physical metaphor for those 4 dimensions. Check out David Daniels work (the inventor of the Stratacut animation medium).

Hi. Thanks for your talk. You see, the problem is that we are not able to connect. I mean between us humans. If only one day all of us could do so, with the amount of knowledge we have, the world would be a better place, and we would all benefit and live better. But unfortunately, that will never happen because of so many things. A hint is what we made ourselves, and that is power, which each of us seeks only. If we believe that things are not forever in this world and that this is the reason we are here, then why kill even for power? My question here is: Are we animals still? or segregated creatures. I’ll leave that to you to answer.

Great talk, but we should never forget that the government has really caused things to be more difficult for its citizens, and we can’t sit back and bear all the consequences of the bad governance. It’s obvious we are headed for hyperinflation, and again and again it is always the poor who take the hit.
