My boyfriend thought it would be sexy to surprise me with a bubble bath. It was romantic until I realized the bubbles were less “sensual spa” and more “foam party gone wrong.” Slippery when wet, indeed👄

I just realized that we will never have a TRUE INTELLIGENT AI that can actually change the world, and if something like that ever comes out we will never know, why would the higher powers of society want regular people use a tool that powerful. Chatgpt will continue getting faster and etc but it wont really be anything else.

  47. @Lottodds

    August 8, 2025 at 7:26 pm

WRONG!… The French result was NOT correct. “la” translate to “the” which the program translation left out (e.g. The car. The cat). But all good because this is just the beginning. I did have a major problem with gpt5 when I asked it to step into the shoes of a Patent claims examiner and review my patent for any red flags or comments and it just kept repeating what it would do and never completed the task. Then finally it just started giving general statements. When I asked Grok4 to do the same thing, it completed the entire task with deep detail step by step and referring to prior art highlighting differences between my invention and the prior art. It also referred to governing law and point to claims in my invention that satisfied each section of the Patent law. It went as far as suggesting improvements and incredibly new inventions to add to my patent. It also drafted a claims letter to the Patent claims examiner satisfying concerns. It also redrafted my Patent description and claim to ensure approval as long as no hidden prior art existed. Absolutely amazing. So Grok4 is definitely better than gpt5. However, Grok4 is horrible at images now and gpt5 is great at it.

My Experience with ChatGPT 5 – A Step Backward, Not Forward

For me, ChatGPT 5 has been a major disappointment:

    Agent mode? Completely gone.

Business upgrade? No longer available – only the more expensive Teams subscription.

Text editing: Parts get forgotten or simply left out.

    Code generation: Incomplete or faulty.

Image generation: Strange results – for example, lumberjacks holding axes in two completely different styles.

Overall, much of it feels unfinished and unpolished. For me, it’s a clear step back compared to ChatGPT 4 with its variety of models.
Yes, GPT-5 is faster – but what’s the point of speed when the quality often hits rock bottom?

  56. @sdbszz706

    August 9, 2025 at 4:23 am

How many of you realize in a few years, you will be able to generate full on video games with triple A quality playable in seconds with any style or gameplay you want. To give you an example, in the near future, you will be able to ask it to generate you a sequel to your favorite game that never got a sequel, with modern graphics and a custom story and gameplay of your choosing, playable on any console you want. I’m not sure yall can even comprehend this currently, but this chatgpt5 is in essence just a Super Nintendo, and you have no idea what ps5 version of chatgpt will be able to do.

How much more clean drinking water is needed for chatgpt5? How much more power is needed to run it? How much more heat is being produced? Are these advancements to ChatGPT also revolutionary in pushing the bounds of environmental friendliness? ChatGPT 5 could probably give you all sorts of information on how it’s destroying our planet (and humanity in turn). Well… that is, if you haven’t put your guardrails on it and silenced parts of ChatGPT. Bias is unavoidable, who is writing this code and who are creating these boundaries of information. These are all the other things I’d rather learn about, instead of mini games and other gimmicks.

      1. ChatGPT uses servers that use water to cool, it is a closed system, so it doesn’t consume water…
      2. You can use solar or nuclear energy
      3. AI will help us solve problems, it’s not only for doing evil things

I built and released two full extensions on Vibecoding’s store. 💔 Honestly, there’s still a long way to go before chatbots can code a whole project from scratch. For starting code, the best I’ve tested is Claude Sonnet 4 — it’s like 100x faster than GPT. For debugging, Gemini Pro is amazing, it analyzes issues super well and makes fixing code easy. I also tried GPT-5… the analysis is fine, but the solutions it gives? Total disaster.

The French app is very very good, but then will GPT give customers as much compute to get the same quality. I noticed this as a payee using other AI systems that are under huge demand. My prompt response quality drops the longer I use them and many times I get no returned results with a wrongly returned excuses of why.
This is not to say the same systems haven’t returned the results I expected at the same time but it does seem under peak demand you can just get trash responses back because the compute just isn’t there, a bit like talking to someone who is overtired and needs a good rest.😄
