Why does the iPhone air look like a pixel? Like can we talk about that part or we just going to ignore that because you got pumpkin spices of color?😂😂😂😂😂😂

i don’t interested in Air or Samsung Edge, i prefer better battery than thin phone, but between Air and Edge , i choose Edge

The Air is quite good. The battery has been pretty good as well. And I max the charging at 80 percent. It’s a great device.

There’s nothing to understand, you prefer longer battery life over thinness, I prefer comfort in the hand over longer battery life, different phones for different people.

Not everyone does that. All of my phones last me all day.

I’m blind, so I need to be using my phone – specifically Apple VoiceOver – for pretty much everything in my life: work and play and daily living, so I wouldn’t want to risk having a shorter battery life, even if it was comparable to older models. Personally, I think this is a cool concept, but I’ll stick with my iPhone 16+ for now.

Thanks for the video! 😊👍 I’ve been using the Air for a month now as well! 💕 It’s been great! Yes, I think Apple will come out with a “Gen 2” Air and make improvements, if not next year, possibly early 2027. For now, this “version 1” has met all my needs. I am totally used to the speaker, and 4 weeks later, scrolling through vertical content, it sounds just fine. For horizontal content, or music, I just connect a Bluetooth speark or use earbuds…

I’ve been averaging 6.5 to 7.5 hours on-screen time, and I only charge from 20/30% to 80%. I’ve had only 16 charge cycles in 28 days. I switched from charging overnight to in the morning, and only when it gets down to 20-30%. This is saving charge cycles and also means I only have to have it on the charger for 30-40 minutes…

If I am going to be out for a while, I may charge up to 90%, but I have yet to have to charge the Air twice in a day. However, if I DO ever have a heavy use day, I’ll just put it on the charger for 20-30 minutes again… Not a big deal…

I don’t zoom in on pictures much. Like most average users, I just use pull out the phone, snap a picture, and put it back in my pocket. The 48MP camera is an improvement over my 13 Pro Max’s 12MP one. I’ve used the landscape mode on the new selfie camera and “Pano” on the main to take wide shots, and they come out good! The new selfie is next-level…

Performance has been awesome. Everything seems to run moother and snappier than my 13PM, with the new A19 Pro chip, and Liquid Glass is terrific on the Air. Looks incredible and futuristic. The display is nearly 3X brighter than my 13PM, and stunning! The display size is the sweet spot, Goldilocks size, and combined with the thinness and lightness of the phone, perfect for one-handed use, with no hand fatifue, even though it has a larger screen…

Speaking of that, coming from a 13 Pro Max, I wanted a bigger screen, so the 17 Pro and 17 base models were out. It was either the 17 Pro Max or the iPhone Air for me. The 17 Pro Max is larger than my 13PM and also this year it’s “thicker” still! Then there is that anodized paint on aluminum issue… 😁 Ya, the decision to get the Air was a no-brainer for me! ….and I SAVED $200!

Some talk about “price”, but what they don’t realize is a LOT of us will GLADLY pay $200 more, than the iPhone 17, to avoid the outdated design and get a larger screen. Not only that, we’re paying for the WAY more premium feel and look of the Air, with titanium and Ceramic Shield and on the FULL back and front, while it also being the MOST durable iPhone ever, at the same time! 🤣

Who is the iPhone Air for? It’s too expensive for casual and moderate users and underpowered for pro users. It’s sits at the middle for moderate use, but at an expensive price point without the bells and whistles — just design

    • @flowqi212

      October 20, 2025 at 12:29 pm

Price has hardly ever been a reason for people not to buy an IPhone (unless they switched to Android years ago) and besides that its, as you said, all about the design, especially since the Pro is so ugly this year. People will buy things if they look better.

    • @arcticpirate2012

      October 20, 2025 at 2:42 pm

There are millions of people that use their phone somewhat heavily but not for pro-level work. Office apps don’t need pro phones at all. Nor do phone calls, FaceTime, Zoom, etc. So a form factor like this is very welcome. Battery also doesn’t have to be a big issue, especially with the availability of charging in almost every public area, and in virtually every newer vehicle. And battery packs are commonplace these days. I fit into this category and I’ll never go back to larger form factor unless it folds.

    • @flowqi212

      October 20, 2025 at 3:18 pm

@arcticpirate2012 I guess “pro” in the OP refers to the camera, because the chip itself is pretty much the fastest one you can get, with very few exceptions. I like the design of the Air, but I have to admit, the rationale decision would be to take the regular 17, I’d say ^^

    • @arcticpirate2012

      October 20, 2025 at 3:29 pm

@flowqi212 logically you’re exactly right. But I know I’m repeating all of the other contact creators, you just have to hold it. It really is crazy. At least to me, I was blown away.

    • @Gle-lv2fm

      October 20, 2025 at 5:44 pm

@flowqi212 I agree with you, but people who buy thin phones don’t buy them just because they’re pretty, they buy them because they’re more comfortable in the hand, they’re also lighter.

Depends on your usage/activity … I’m happy with the Air (especially the lighter weight) but it’s not my only device, ie. I use my iPad and Apple Watch as well as the Air

  10. @MrGoodmazz

    October 20, 2025 at 1:02 pm

I’ve had it for a month too. No issues with battery, camera or speaker. My only complaint is that it’s a bit slippery. Small issue. The way it feels is ground breaking!

  11. @TransitAndTeslas

    October 20, 2025 at 1:13 pm

If it wasn’t the friggin….you know….battery life, I would have gone for the air. I don’t take a lot of pictures, I don’t care about having it being the fastest thing ever, etc, I want it to last the day. I use my phone for everything, from bus/train passes, to car keys, payments, etc, I need it to last. So I went for Pro.

Regarding the audio, I think one of the motivations for limiting the speaker situation is conditioning us to consider other audio outputs. The obvious first is AirPods, but eventually the inconvenience of having to either put them in whenever you want to watch something or leave them in and have to charge multiple times will have us looking for more convenient alternatives. Like glasses…
