I absolutely love and adore Nick Offerman. His character in Parks and Rec resembles my dad when my dad was his age, minus his beautiful blue eyes, my dad’s are (were a beautiful brown). My dad in character was not anything like Ron but if I could have wished a character on him it would have been that of Ron. Ron is so chill and he’s smart and a little strange. Sensitive but a man’s man. Very self-assured and can back it up. If it’s possible that I didn’t know my dad well enough or at all then that is as sad as it is but also I can’t think about what the rest of my thought was or is. I just know for sure that all the happy centers of my brain light up at the sight and thought and sound of Mr. Offerman. He is like a baby Jesus bringing joy to the world! 🙂
